Abstract:
A non-water-base ink jet ink obtained by adding a coloring material, a solvent and a dispersant to a product of reaction between a resin and a gelling agent so as to have a viscosity of 2 to 30 mPas at an ambient temperature of 23ºC. This non-water-base ink jet ink is free from vehicle strike-through in the direction of depth of printing medium and exudation in the horizontal direction thereof and is excellent in fixability and shelf life.
