Abstract:
The present invention provides a non-woven fabric which, when used as a separation membrane support for a reverse osmosis membrane or the like, has a high yield and stable workability even when subjected to heat during film formation and during manufacturing of a fluid separation element, and has excellent mechanical strength. This non-woven fabric is characterized in that the difference between the smoothness of the two surfaces is 10-50 seconds, inclusive, and the boiling water curling height after treatment for 5 minutes in boiling water is 0-8.0mm, inclusive.
