Abstract:
Provided is a technique for reducing variability in the thickness of a non-woven fabric sheathing material when wound around a wire harness. A non-woven fabric sheathing material 10 is provided with: a first strip portion 11 extending in a longitudinal direction of the non-woven fabric sheathing material 10; a second strip portion 13 extending in the longitudinal direction; and an intermediate portion 15 with which the first strip portion 11 is contiguous at a part 151 on one side in the width direction of the non-woven fabric sheathing material, and with which the second strip portion 13 is contiguous at a part 153 on the other side in the width direction. The thickness (H1) of the intermediate portion 15 is greater than the thickness (H2) of the first strip portion 11 and the thickness (H3) of the second strip portion 13. When the non-woven fabric sheathing material 10 is being wound onto a wire harness 20, the first strip portion 11 is overlaid on the outer surface of the second strip portion 13 that has already been wound onto the wire harness.
