Abstract:
This non-woven fabric (1) is a hydrophilic non-woven fabric provided with a fiber aggregate (11) formed by fastening long fibers using a heat sealing unit (3). In the non-woven fabric (1), some of the long fibers (2) are fractured, and fibers (20) are provided, one end (20a) of each fiber (20) being fastened using the heat sealing unit (3), and the other end of each fiber (20) serving as a free end (20b) that stands up apart from the fiber aggregate. The hydrophilic degree of the fibers (20) having free ends (20b) is lower than the hydrophilic degree of the fibers constituting the fiber aggregate (11).
