Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a nonaqueous electrolyte which improves electrochemical characteristics when a capacitor device is used under high temperatures and high voltages, and which not only maintains capacity after storage in high voltage and high-humidity, but also minimizes the generation of gas. The invention also pertains to a capacitor device using said nonaqueous electrolyte. The nonaqueous electrolyte obtained by dissolving an electrolyte salt in a nonaqueous solvent is a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a carboxylic acid ester compound represented by general formula (I) below. (In the formula, R1 and R2 respectively and independently represent a hydrogen atom, and a -C(=O)-OR4 group or the like, and R1 and R2 may bond to one another to form a cyclic structure. R3 represents a hydrogen atom or the like, and n is an integer from 1 to 3. If n is 1, L and R4 represent C1-6 alkyl groups or the like, and if n is 2 or 3, L represents an n-valent linking group, X represents a -C(=O)- group, -S(=O)- group, -S(=O)2- group, -S(=O)2-R5-S(=O) 2- group, or a CR6R7 group, R5 represents a C1-4 alkylene group, and R6 and R7 represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl group.)
