Abstract:
Provided are: a nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element which has high capacity retention rate after charge and discharge cycles at high temperatures around 45°C; and a method for producing this nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element. One embodiment of the present invention is a nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element which is provided with a positive electrode that comprises a positive electrode mixture containing phosphorus atoms and a lithium transition metal composite oxide containing manganese, and wherein the peak position of P2p in the spectrum of the positive electrode mixture as determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is at 134.7 eV or less. Another embodiment of the present invention is a method for producing a nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element, which comprises the formation of a positive electrode with use of a positive electrode mixture paste that contains lithium transition metal composite oxide containing manganese and an oxo acid of phosphorus.
