Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention is a nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element that is provided with: a positive electrode which contains positive electrode active material particles that contain manganese, while having aluminum present in at least the surfaces thereof; and a nonaqueous electrolyte which contains a salt represented by formula (1). Another embodiment of the present invention is a method for producing is a nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element, which comprises: formation of a positive electrode that contains positive electrode active material particles which contain manganese, while having aluminum present in at least the surfaces thereof; and preparation of a nonaqueous electrolyte that contains a salt represented by formula (1). (In formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an organic group; Mm+ represents an alkali metal cation, an alkaline earth metal cation or an onium cation; m represents an integer that is equal to the valence of the cation represented by Mm+; and in cases where m is 2 or more, the plurality of R1 moieties independently meet the above definition.)
