Abstract:
A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution, and wherein the positive electrode contains, as an active material thereof, a material that has a positive electrode potential of 4.25 V or more (on the basis of Li/Li+), and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains an electrolyte and a pyrazole derivative represented by formula (I) in an organic solvent. (In the formula, each of R1-R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent; and A1 represents an aryl group.)
