Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte having excellent charge-discharge properties, and a secondary cell that uses the nonaqueous electrolyte for a secondary cell. The nonaqueous electrolyte for a secondary cell comprises a lithium salt, a predetermined fluorine-containing ether solvent, a pre-determined fluorine-free ether compound such as monoglyme, and a predetermined cyclic carbonate compound having vinyl groups such as vinylethylene carbonate. Moreover, the secondary cell comprises a positive electrode wherein the active substance is a material capable of occlusion and release of lithium ions, a negative electrode wherein the active substance is a carbon material capable of occlusion and release of lithium ions, a separator, and the nonaqueous electrolyte for a secondary cell.
