Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to improve both the capacity retention and the output characteristics of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell pertaining to the present invention is characterized in that a negative electrode is compounded with an aqueous binder as a binder and an amorphous carbon as a negative electrode active material, and in that the average particle diameter of the amorphous carbon is configured to be 7 µm or less, which is less than a specified average particle diameter. Adopting this characteristic configuration makes it possible to improve both the capacity retention and the output characteristics of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell.
