Abstract:
Disclosed is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution which enables to obtain a battery having high capacity while being excellent in storage characteristics and cycle characteristics. Also disclosed is a nonaqueous electrolyte battery produced by using such a nonaqueous electrolyte solution. Specifically disclosed is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution characterized by: (1) containing a cyclic carbonate having an unsaturated bond and further containing a fluorinated cyclic carbonate having two or more fluorine atoms; (2) containing an aromatic compound having 7-18 carbon atoms in total and further containing a fluorinated cyclic carbonate having two or more fluorine atoms; (3) containing diethyl carbonate and further containing a fluorinated cyclic carbonate having two or more fluorine atoms; or (4) containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of cyclic sulfonic acid ester compounds, disulfonic acid ester compounds, nitrile compounds and compounds represented by the general formula (1) and further containing a fluorinated cyclic carbonate having two or more fluorine atoms. Alternatively, (5) the nonaqueous electrolyte solution is characterized by being used in a high voltage battery whose charge end voltage is not less than 4.3 V, and containing a fluorinated cyclic carbonate having two or more fluorine atoms.
