Abstract:
A nonaqueous-secondary-battery separator provided with the following: a microporous membrane; and an adhesive porous layer that is provided on one or both sides of the microporous membrane and contains a fibrillar polyvinylidene-fluoride resin. The mean pore diameter determined from the specific surface area of the microporous membrane is greater than 90 nm but no greater than 250 nm, the peel strength between the microporous membrane and the adhesive porous layer is at least 0.10 N/cm, and the fibril diameter determined from the specific surface area of the adhesive porous layer is between 50 and 70 nm, inclusive.
