Abstract:
A power reception device 3 in this noncontact power feeding device 1 includes: a reception coil 21 which receives power from a power transmission device 2; a resonant circuit 20 which includes a resonant capacitor 22 connected in series with the reception coil 21; a first rectifying circuit 23 which rectifies power received through the resonant circuit 20; a smoothing capacitor 24 which is connected to the first rectifying circuit 23 and smooths a voltage output from the first rectifying circuit 23; a sub-coil 25 which is disposed electromagnetically connectable to the reception coil 21; and a second rectifying circuit 26 which is connected between the sub-coil 25 and the smoothing capacitor 24 and outputs, to the smoothing capacitor 24, power according to a voltage generated in the sub-coil 25 when a voltage obtainable by rectifying the voltage generated in the sub-coil 25 is higher than a voltage between two terminals of the smoothing capacitor 24.
