Abstract:
A noncontact power transmission apparatus according to the present invention is provided with: a coil that generates a high-frequency magnetic field upon reception of a high-frequency current; a support that is configured to support a power receiving device in the high-frequency magnetic field; an inverter circuit that supplies the high-frequency current to the coil; and a control device that controls driving of the inverter circuit, wherein the control device is configured so as to perform the power transmission operation of transmitting power to the power receiving device in the case where the impedance on the output side of the inverter circuit has resonance characteristics when the driving frequency of the inverter circuit has been changed.
