Abstract:
In a nondestructive inspecting system (1), a neutron detecting unit (4) is configured by integrating a collimator (30) in which a wall material that forms through passages comprises a material which absorbs neutrons (Ns) generated by an object (B) being inspected, and a neutron detecting unit (20) capable of detecting the neutrons (Ns) that have passed through the collimator (30), wherein a computing unit creates information relating to the position and composition of the object (B) being inspected, from information relating to the neutrons detected by the neutron detecting unit (20), and position information and attitude information respectively indicating the position and the attitude of the neutron detecting unit (4), detected by a position and attitude detecting unit (6).
