Abstract:
 The present invention provides: a noninvasive method for determining fetal chromosomal aneuploidy, the method having a step for analyzing the DNA of nucleated red blood cell candidate cells isolated from the maternal blood, wherein the noninvasive method for determining fetal chromosomal aneuploidy is optimized on the basis of whether the fetus is classified, on the basis of the results of non-destructive ultrasonic testing, as being selected from a single fetus, monochorionic-monoamnionic twins, monochorionic-diamnionic twins, or dichorionic-diamnionic twins, and on the basis of the classification of the number of nucleated red blood cell candidate cells from which DNA is analyzed; and a noninvasive system for determining fetal chromosomal aneuploidy.
