Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a nonmagnetic blank conveying device capable of suppressing scratches and deformation on a nonmagnetic blank and reliably conveying the nonmagnetic blank, and a nonmagnetic blank conveying method using the nonmagnetic blank conveying device. [Solution] The present invention provides a nonmagnetic blank conveying device 100 for conveying a nonmagnetic blank 1, the nonmagnetic blank conveying device 100 comprising: an endless conveyance conveyor 10 on which the nonmagnetic blank 1 is placed; a suction unit 20 which is disposed above the conveyance conveyor 10; a support conveyor 30 to which the suction unit 20 is attached; and a linear-motion device 40 for vertically moving the support conveyor 30. The suction unit 20 has a base 21 and a plurality of suction cups 22 that are attached to the base 21 and extend downward from the base 21. The linear-motion device 40 is driven by a servomotor, and the nonmagnetic blank 1 is conveyed while being sucked to the suction unit 20 and supported by the conveyance conveyor 10.
