Abstract:

Problem: To solve problems of conventional ordinary temperature asphalt binders and ordinary temperature asphalt mixtures, that is, a deterioration of physical properties such as mechanical properties, a degradation of storage stability and long-term storage, curing due to volatilization of volatile solvents, and an inability to use in rainy weather and winter. Solution means: A nonvolatile ordinary temperature modified asphalt binder and a nonvolatile ordinary temperature regenerated asphalt mixture using the same were prepared by mixing petroleum asphalt, natural asphalt, a polymer modifier, a process oil, an adhesion enhancer, etc. at an optimal ratio. The mechanical property, storage stability and storage of the binder and the mixture were improved dramatically.
