Abstract:
The present invention relates to a nonwoven fabric for absorbent articles, the nonwoven fabric being a multilayer nonwoven fabric that has a first fiber layer and a second fiber layer, wherein the first fiber layer comprises cotton fibers and has a basis weight of 5 to 30 g/m2, the second fiber layer comprises a synthetic long fiber nonwoven fabric and has a basis weight of 5 to 20 g/m2, and the constituent fibers of the first fiber layer and the second fiber layer are integrated by being three-dimensionally interlaced. The multilayer nonwoven fabric has openings, and the second fiber layer has a lateral breaking strength of 5.0 N/5 cm or less. Thus, it is possible to provide a nonwoven fabric for absorbent articles, a surface sheet for absorbent articles, and an absorbent article including the surface sheet for absorbent articles, which have increased strength of the nonwoven fabric containing cotton fibers and has improved liquid absorbing properties.
