Abstract:
The present invention provides a nonwoven fabric for an absorbent article in which interlayer separation can be suppressed and which has excellent liquid permeability and liquid drainability. Provided is a nonwoven fabric 16 which is for an absorbent article and which comprises a first fiber layer 26 and a second fiber layer 28 in order in the thickness direction T, wherein the first fiber layer 26 has a first surface 22 and is constituted by thermally fusible fibers, the second fiber layer 28 includes water-absorbent fibers and thermally fusible fibers, some of the thermally fusible fibers of the first fiber layer 26 enter the second fiber layer 28 and fuse with some of the thermally fusible fibers of the second fiber layer 28, and the water-absorbent fibers of the second fiber layer 28 do not expose to the first surface 22.
