Abstract:
Provided are a nonwoven fabric manufacturing method and equipment capable of obtaining a homogeneous nonwoven fabric at a side edge portion and a central portion. A voltage is applied between a rotary shaft (28) and a charging belt (13) by means of a charging device (22), and a solution (16) is charged to a reverse polarity to that of the charging belt (13) by means of a rotating conductor (20) attached to the rotary shaft (28). A pair of electric field control members including dummy electrodes (40), (42) are provided on both sides of the rotary shaft (28) to sandwich the rotating conductor (20) therebetween. The dummy electrodes (40), (42) are formed in a disc shape, are arranged outside a container (18) not to be in contact with the solution (16), and are charged to the same polarity as the solution (16) by means of the charging device (22).
