Abstract:
A nonwoven fabric that is regulated in at least one of fiber orientation, fiber
compression and fiber weight per area, or provided with at least one of given groove
portion, open area and projecting portion; and a process for producing the nonwoven
fabric and apparatus therefor. The nonwoven fabric production apparatus is
structured so as to blow a fluid composed mainly of a gas against a sheet-shaped
fiber assembly wherein at least some of the fibers constituting the fiber assembly
are contained in free form to thereby produce a nonwoven fabric that is regulated
in at least one of fiber orientation, fiber compression and fiber weight per area,
or provided with at least one of given groove portion, open area and projecting
portion.
