Abstract:
A short-fiber nonwoven fabric which contains concentric sheath-core type composite fibers, and wherein the sheath component of the concentric sheath-core type composite fibers contains a linear low density polyethylene, while the core component contains a thermoplastic resin which has a melting point higher than that of the linear low density polyethylene by 20°C or more. A multilayer nonwoven fabric which comprises the above-described nonwoven fabric as a first nonwoven fabric layer, while additionally comprising a second nonwoven fabric layer that is composed of another short-fiber nonwoven fabric.
