Abstract:
Disclosed are a normalized-metadata generation apparatus, an object occlusion detection apparatus, and methods thereof. A method for generating normalized metadata comprises the steps of: generating a multi-ellipsoid-based three-dimensional human model, using the perspective characteristics of multiple two-dimensional images acquired by multiple cameras; performing scene calibration on the basis of the three-dimensional human model in order to normalize object information of an object included in the two-dimensional images; and generating normalized metadata of the object from two-dimensional images obtained by performing the scene calibration.
