Abstract:
In one aspect, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a notification device and the like capable of appropriately issuing a notification of approach information of another vehicle in accordance with the state of a host vehicle or the vicinity thereof. The notification device (1) is equipped with: a notification unit for providing information regarding the approach of another vehicle (9) which may possibly intersect with the host vehicle (7) in the moving direction of the host vehicle; a determination unit for determining whether or not it is possible for the host vehicle (7) to move to the position of intersection with the other vehicle (9); and a prohibition unit for prohibiting notification from being provided by the notification unit when the determination unit has determined that it is impossible to move to the point of interesction.
