Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a notification message control method and a related apparatus, applied to an electronic device. The electronic device accesses a first wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) network by means of a first Wi-Fi network interface, and accesses a second Wi-Fi network by means of a second Wi-Fi network interface. The method comprises: upon detecting a screen ON event for a touch display screen, determining a target parameter value for representing network quality of the first Wi-Fi network; if it is detected that the target parameter value is greater than a first preset threshold value, determining whether the first Wi-Fi network is in an active state; and if not, closing the second Wi-Fi network interface, and transmitting network data by means of the first Wi-Fi network. The embodiments of the present invention facilitate reducing power consumption of an electronic device operating in a dual Wi-Fi mode.
