Abstract:
The present invention embodies Notification System with User Consent and Control. Said notification system (P) that provides full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices and over the users. Present system (P) also provides interactive platform for the system that allows customization, personalization and individualization without dependency on the service providers. The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control mainly comprises of: • Calling Device Module (Cing) • Called Device Module (Ced) • Notification Module (NM) further comprising of: ○ Platform Management (PM), ○ Storage Element (SE), ○ Processing means (PR), ○ User Management (UM), ○ Device Management (DM), ○ Content Management (CM), ○ Service management (SM).

Claims:
CLAIMS:

1. The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control mainly comprises of:

• Calling Device Module (Cing),

• Called Device Module (Ced),

• Notification Module (NM) further comprising of:

o Platform Management (PM),

o Storage Element (SE),

o Processing means (PR),

o User Management (UM),

o Device Management (DM),

o Content Management (CM),

o Service management (SM);

Said Calling Device Module (Cing) is a communication device wherein said communication device is with configuration of present system (P); wherein further said Calling Device Module (Cing) :

allows the user of the present system (P) to communicate with the other user of present system (P) through communication modes including call, message, chat, video chat etc;

enables the calling party to configure the notification content for Called Party to be played on the Display (CDed) of their Called Device Module (Ced) for notifying about the communication by the Said Calling Device Module (Cing); wherein said notification content is selected from amongst diverse content categories; by the calling party through its Said Calling Device Module (Cing); provides flexibility of choosing different notification content for different called party/ s or different Called Device Module (Ced) enabling the users to access and utilize diverse notification contents and configure them based on their preference and liking;

enables control over selection of content and Notification service

(selection of content for selected calling party);

allows “calling party” to configure contents for all notification services:

• User can configure a ringtone for himself with a notification content according to his preference and liking;

• User is also allowed to configure a ring-back tone content to hear while calling a / any“called party”;

• User is also allowed to configure notification content for reverse ring back tone to be played on the Called Device Module (Ced)“called party”;

provides control over contents, notification services and user for configuration and customization;

Said Calling Device Module (Cing) further comprises of:

□ Display (CDing),

□ Storage (CSing) ,

□ Notification Content (CNing),

□ Consent (CCsing),

□ Control (CCning),

□ Call detection means (CCding); Wherein, said Display (CDing) of the Calling Device Module (Cing) allows the user i.e. Calling Party to interact with the Module (Cing) and thereby the present system (P) through Device service management; Calling party interacts to select content for notification through the said Display from Notification Contents (CNing) for himself and the Called Party/ s or Group/ s for his contacts from the Storage (CSing);

- The Storage (CSing) of the Calling Device Module (Cing) allows access to all contacts for whom as individual or for members of group; the notification content is to be selected; stored notification content for respective notification services;

Notification Content (CNing) /user data and content categories from Storage Element of the Notification Module (NM) which includes Audio, Video, Image, contents from Device Manufacturer, Contents from Third Party, Contents from stored merged contents etc; Said stored merged contents include contents developed by user by merging two or more content from same or different categories;

notification content stored here shall be retrieved and played on said Display (CDed) of the Called Device Module (Ced) whenever the said called party receives a notification; whereby notification for said communication will be personalized and customized notification as enabled on their Device Modules (Cing and Ced) based on their preference and liking for particular individual or member of group, regardless of the communication device upon which communication is received;

- The Consent (CCsing) allow seeking consent

o by a particular Called Party or

o for a particular content;

to configure content to be played on the screen of Calling Device Module (Cing); when they shall be called (to form Called Party; for that instance);

Said Consent (CCsing) provision shall enable the user to allow or to block configuration;

Said Call Detection Module (CCding) detects specific call states, based on which Notification Services are triggered and respective configured notification contents are played; after retrieving the contents from the storage (CSing);

Said Called Device Module (Ced) is the communication device of Called Party wherein said communication device is with configuration of present system (P); which:

allows the user of the present system (P) to communicate with the Calling user of present system (P) through communication modes including call, message, chat, video chat

receives the communication from the Said Calling Device Module (Cing) and allows the called party to access the configured notification content for said called party by said calling party to be played on the Display (CDed) of their Called Device Module (Ced) for notifying about the communication by the Said Calling Device Module (Cing); enables said Called Party to allow or block any calling party to configure the notification content to be played on display of said Called Device Module (Ced);

provides control over allowing or blocking accessed notification content set by the Calling Device Module (Cing) to be played on their display (CDed) as notification content; which provides control to the called party over the:

calling parties who can configure notification content for him/ her; and

Contents of notification;

Wherein; the notification content is played on the display of Called Device Module (Ced); if consented by said called party; which results in trigger of reverse ring back tone service on the Called Device Module (Ced); whenever the Said Called Device Module (Ced) receives the incoming call;

allows user to set Ringtone for his own device module (Cing) from diverse content category selection based on his preference and liking; to be played while he is called by someone else.

Said Called Device Module (Ced) further comprises of:

□ Display (CDed),

□ Storage (CSed),

□ Notification Content (CNed),

□ Consent (CCsed),

□ Control (CCned),

□ Call detection means (CCded); Wherein, said Display (CDed) of the Called Device Module (Ced) allows the user i.e. Called Party to:

o interact with the Module (Ced) and thereby the present system (P) to access the list of Calling Parties; including groups that has configured notification content for them; o said Called Party can allow or block the Calling Party to configure notification content for them;

o view and control the notification content configured for group / s and individual;

o view each content through Display (CDed) of his Called Device Module (Ced);

o the configured notification is played if he has consented i.e. allowed playing of contents configured to be played on Display (CDed) of his Called Device Module (Ced);

- The Storage (CSed) of the Called Device Module (Ced) allows access to all contacts for whom as individual or for members of group; the notification content is to be selected; stored notification content for respective notification services;

Notification Content (CNed) stores and allows access to content categories from Storage Element of the Notification Module (NM) which includes Audio, Video, Image, contents from Device Manufacturer, Contents from Third Party, Contents from stored merged contents etc; Said stored merged contents include contents developed by user by merging two or more content from same or different categories;

Whereby, notification content (CNed) and storage (CSed) are used to configure notification content for the other parties (this shall convert the said called user to a calling party for that instance); which is done in same way as described for the Calling Device Module (Cing);

- The Consent (CCsed) allows

o consenting the called party regarding particular Called Party for allowing content configuration for called party; or blocking them;

o consenting the called party for a particular content configured by calling party for said called party;

Said Call Detection Module (CCded) detects specific call states, based on which Notification Services are triggered and respective configured notification contents are played; after retrieving the contents from the storage (CSed);

Wherein further, Device Service Management within the Calling Device Module (Cing) and Called Device Module (Ced) allows management of present system locally on their communication device and facilitates localized access and avoids any secrecy issues with respect to contact list, preferences which also enables the user to make changes in the preferences, configurations, generation of categories, generation of merged contents Said Notification Module (NM) preferably a Cloud Based Server that provides access to Notification platform Users, Device Modules (Cing and Ced) and Communication Devices which are used for Communication, to avail Notification benefits based on User’s Consent, and Control over content and its Users; it facilitates:

the configuration and registration of the present system (P) on the Device Modules (Cing and Ced);

processing consent and control of users and notification content for said devices (Cing and Ced);

allows management of Users, Devices, content and Services; allows access and processing of notification content categories access and processing;

enables management of Consent and Control which plays a key role in enabling or disabling the Notification content on the Device modules (Cing and Ced), based on users consent related to content (referred to herein collectively for Audio, Video, Image & combination of Image and Audio or sound) which is configured as Notification content for his or her (Cing and Ced);

Notification Module (NM) further comprising of:

o Platform Management (PM)

o Storage Element (SE)

o Processing means (PR)

o User Management (UM)

o Device Management (DM)

o Content Management (CM)

o Service management (SM) Said Platform Management (PM) identifies Device Modules (Cing and Ced) that installs the present system (P), technology or independent platform and application used for communication on Device Modules (Cing and Ced);

Said Storage Element (SE) stores complete information with respect to Notification of present system (P); The information pertains to:

• Users

• Devices

• Enabled or Disabled notifications,

• Platform Users,

• Groups,

• Device Modules (Cing and Ced),

• Communication end points,

• Blocked and permanently allowed User list,

• Notification Service i.e. Ringtone, Ringback Tone, Reverse Ringback Tone related to individual users,

• Consent and Control information related to Tune Notification service offered;

Said information is used by the present system (P) while the Device Module (Cing and Ced) seeks access to the diverse content for notification to configure it for the selected Called Parties; The system accesses the storage to check whether particular called party; for whom the configuration of the notification content is accessed is registered for the present system (P) or not; Further, while a communicating party calls the other, storage is accessed to check whether said content is to be retrieved and played or is it disabled by the called party (content is consented or not); also Communication end points are accessed from the storage element (SE); Blocked and permanently allowed User list are also checked; type of Notification Service i.e. Ringtone, Ringback Tone, Reverse Ringback Tone related to individual users is also retrieved from same. Groups related notification functionality are also accessed from here. Consent and Control information related to Tune Notification service offered; Where the communication devices which are unable to process and store notification content would access Notification module for its Notification content storage (SE) via computer to be registered and verified for use Notification system;

Said Processing Means (PR) processes the retrieved user data and notification contents from the storage (SE) to

allow access to diversity of stored content categories, merge the contents,

set preferences as per likings,

allowing or blocking Calling Parties to set any notification content for them;

allowing or blocking content set by any calling party; thereby providing complete control over notification system (P) on user’s Device Module (Cing and Ced) .

The Processing Means (PR) further comprises of: • Content Module (PCT) for retrieving notification contents from Storage Element (SE) and further processing them to o configure it for any individual or group through content configuration means (PCTd);

o setting category preferences for individual or a group through category preference means (PCTa); o Merging notification contents including:

inter category contents

intra category contents;

and Generating merged content through Category merging means (PCTb);

o Configuring merged content for individual or group through content configuration means (PCTd); o Generating new category of contents through category generating means (PCTc).

Already saved categories and its contents are used to configure it for individual or group and merge them; Further, as and when the user prefers additional categories (not already stored in storage element (SE)); category generating means (PCTc) allows generating a new category and use the same thereafter to configure it for individual or group;

• Consent Module (PCS) facilitates consent from the called party whether to enable the notification content set by any calling party for display on his Device Module (Ced or Cing); thereby providing interactive provision to enable seeking consent from the user’s device module (Cing or Ced) with respect to notification contents of only those users whom the called party consents to configure contents of their liking or consent with respect to content from each party who has set notification content for him (called party) based on his liking and preferences. The called party can disable the content of the ones which are not of his/her liking. Control Module (PCN) facilitates control over users and content. To facilitate the consent, said consent module (PCS) has:

o Call detection means (PCSa) to detect the call and trigger the playing of the notification content on display (CDed) if the called party has enabled the same o To detect whether the notification content is enabled or blocked; Block detection means (PCSb) detects the system whether the notification content set by calling party at that instance; has been blocked by said called party or not. If not blocked; it will play the notification content on display (CDed) . If calling party or content from it is blocked by the called party; then the standard notification content shall play. Usual cases includes a standard tune.

• Control module (PCN) provides control to the users with respect to allowing or blocking users or contents; wherein the control module (PCN) :

allows user to decide whether to enable the notification content set by any calling party for display on his Device Module (Ced) or not; Allows to decide whether to allow or block any particular content to be displayed on his Device Module (Ced); as notification content or not;

Which further provides interactive provision to enable selecting notification contents of only those users whom the calling/ called party expects contents of his liking or can select the content from each party who has set notification content for him (called party) based on his liking and preferences and can disable the content of the ones which are not of his liking;

facilitate user specific Notification content, with consent and control on content and users across all communication devices utilized, the Notification Module (NM) provides Service Management module (SM) which provides facilities to ensure, that the information related to notification content configured by users of communication device is enabled or disabled based on the users liking;

• Said User management (UM) facilitates

management of various data regarding the users including the user data including user communication end points including mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID used to avail benefits of present notification system (P) and related management;

enables the user to form group on the system (P) and manage the same for addition and/or deletion of members from the group; adding and/ or deleting a group; • Said Device Management (DM) facilitates Registration of user on present Notification system (P), its verification and configuration; It additionally enables interactive communication with Device Modules (Cind and Ced) for communication notification with consent and control; It further has means for:

Registration of the detected Device Modules (Cind and Ced);

Verification verifies the detected Device Modules (Cind and Ced) by Platform Management (PM). All this devices, based on the technology and platform used is verified using various verification techniques like SMS/ Missed Called Alert / One Time Password or URL etc to enable registration;

Configuration facilitates configuration of system (P) on Device Modules (Cind and Ced) for notification with consent and control;

Display interaction allows interaction between user and system;

Wherein Communication devices which are verified are successfully mapped with various communication endpoints i.e. mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID etc, with respect to communication devices accessed by the user; the information related to devices and subsequent accessed communication end points are stored in Device management (NDM) and User management (NUM) module of Tune Notification server;

In addition, said Device management (NDM) stores details related to information on Device Modules (Cind and Ced) which was successfully verified and registered; Device Modules (Cind and Ced) includes details related to devices which are enabled for various other Device Modules (Cind and Ced), which could be bridged or otherwise interconnected, allowing communication via Telecom or Data Network & device types across the network;

• Said Content Management (CM) allows management of the contents stored in the Storage Element (SE); Management of content includes

setting preferences from the contents for particular calling party or groups;

access to diverse content categories stored in storage element (SE) and utilizing the same for customization, personalization and individualization; For the same, it further has: o Customization means (CC) provides flexibility in selection of contents from diverse content categories including audio, video, and images and/or merged contents that are merged using Category Merging Means (PCtb) of the Content Module (PCT) of the Processing means (PR) along with an option to select inter-category content; thereby providing flexibility to the users of communication devices to create, configure content for the users and groups of Present Notification system (P); based on the preference and liking of the users; Personalization Means (CP) allows the Calling Party to configure notification content for individual called parties and/ or for groups; whereby, personalized contents can be configured for their friends, family and loved ones; also They have an option to create Groups Notifications based on personal, social and professional level of engagement; further, Users of the present system (P) has an option to select content of notification for individual users or group based on their preference and liking; Individualization means (Cl) allows the Calling Party to configure notification content for individual called parties in individualized way; unlike that of prior art; wherein a selected content is usually generalized and being played for all communicating parties/ groups; whereby, individualized contents can be configured for each of their friends, family member/ s and loved one/s; further, Users of the present system (P) avail benefits of selecting content of notification for individual users or group based on their preference and liking; • Service Management (SM) allows the user of the present system (P) to communicate with the system (P); synchronize their Device Module (Ced) with the present system and Maintenance. For the same, said Service Management (SM) further comprises of: o Communication Means (SMc) enables communication and thereby exchange of information between the Notification Module (NM) and Device Module (Cing and Ced) via DATA Network; o Synchronization Means (SMs) synchronizes the information or any change updated with respect to notification services, notification content, enablement or blockage; and concerned Platform Users; for the same, it: facilitates to ensure that information related to Device module (Cing and Ced) Users/ Group, Device Details, Content related to Notification, Consent and Control information is synchronized between the Notification Module (NM) and Device Modules (Cing and Ced); facilitates flagging the changes recorded, so that subsequent synchronization requests are made to concerned platform users and Tune Notification Server, to retrieve the changed information. For Example; any Platform user would like to change the Notification content set for particular Group, once the Group Notification content is changed with New Notification content, information related to change in Group Notification content is detected by Synchronization means, and updated to Consent and Control module, related to New Notification to be distributed to all the members of the Group by Synchronization means;

- The information related to change in content is detected by Consent and Content Module, which in turn updates the changes to User and Device Module, while Processing means access the details and instructs Synchronization means to update and distribute the changes. Post individual Group members acceptance to enable New Notification content, the content is stored and enabled for members of the Group for Notification service;

Notification module (NM) utilizes Synchronization (SMs), which then notifies the users as individuals or members of the Group of other Device Modules (Ced) of the changes to the Notification content and updates them accordingly; Changes regarding notification service or its content is also notified accordingly; o Maintenance means (SMs) enables the Tune Notification service provider, to ensure effective and efficient functioning and regular health checkup of Device Modules.

The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control as claimed in claim 1 ; wherein said Device Module (Cing and Ced) is any communication device with configuration of present system (P) that includes mobile phones, laptops, computers and devices enabling communicating with others.

3. The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control as claimed in claim 1 ; wherein One or more individual Users are able to utilize a number of Device Modules (Cing and Ced) attached to the Telecom Network and/or Data Network.

The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control as claimed in claim 3; wherein; in addition to mobile; the user can utilize an analog or VOIP telephone for voice calls, a cellular telephone for voice calls and text messaging, a personal computer or Tablet for voice/ video call, or instant messaging/ call.

The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control as claimed in claim 1 ; wherein where the communication devices like mobile are used for this system; and have localized storage; Storage of said device (CSing and CSed) is used for storage and access of user data, content of notification and such others.

The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control as claimed in claim 1 ; wherein, present Notification System (P) works in tandem with Telecom Network like PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), Cellular or Mobile Network, Voice over IP (VOIP), Instant Messaging (IM) etc., but has no dependency on Telecom Network to provide Notifications.

The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control as claimed in claim 1 ; wherein, said control module (PCN) allows users of the communication devices to readily enable or disable the content configured for them as Notification content, if they find it offensive or abusive; without paying or depending on the service provider; whereby, users can also Block other User from configuring any future Notification content if he wants to.

8. The present Notification system (P) with user consent and control as claimed in claim 1 ; wherein, said Notification services encompasses Ringtone, Ring back tone and Reverse ring back tone.

Description:
NOTIFICATION SYSTEM WITH USER CONSENT AND CONTROL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention in Telecommunication is related to Notification system with user consent and control. Present invention particularly relates to Notification system with user consent and control that provides full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices and over the users. Present system (P) also provides interactive platform for the system that allows customization, personalization and individualization without dependency on the service providers.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Communication devices enable its users in reaching out to others through calls, messages, video-calls, chats etc. Each time a user approaches another user, a notification is given to the later; notifying about the same.

Communication between communication devices; for example between mobiles have different call states wherein notification plays a role and thus related services are applicable. Said notification services majorly encompass Ringtone, Ring back tone and Reverse Ring back tone played at different call state on one of the communication devices depending on the call state. The communication call states and related notification services are generally as under:

Incoming call Call received Ringtone played on communication device of Called Party. Generally includes a selected or a standard tone and / or a static picture such as called party’s photo selected from storage of calling party’s communication device

(generally, to identify the calling party or any other image as display image for call from particular calling party).

Outgoing Call Call initiation Ringback tone heard by the calling party while calling the called party

Ringback notification as static image on caller’s communication device’s screen Call connected Ringback tone stops

User Communication devices often play an audible sound; generally a tune to notify the user for any incoming or Outgoing Calls and Messages. Commonly, it is referred as Tune Notification or ringtone; as the notification is a“selected tune” or is a tone that rings as notification. Traditionally, the tune notification content is provided to the users locally on their devices.

Generally, the tune notification content available locally, within the communication devices are certain tunes provided within the device by device manufacturer from which the user can select as notification tune for his own communication device, to be played while someone else calls or messages him/her. Communication devices are always delivered to Users with a limited number of Tunes; amongst which, user selects a particular tune to be played locally on their devices, which he / she may like or dislike. Certain communication devices have provisions and a few users (called parties) may prefer to configure a static picture such as called party’s photo selected from storage of calling party’s communication device (generally, to identify the calling party or any other image as display image for call from particular calling party) . However, there are no options other than these available notification content options to be played as ringtone. The ability to provide content based on the liking and preference of individuals is limited for any communication device manufacturer. Thus existing system has limitation with respect to diversity in notification content; that too, it is limited to tunes. That is, the content from which notification tune content is to be selected is generally limited to audio and static pictures. Content diversity is not yet explored to other forms of notification contents such as static informative image, video, advertisement, greetings etc. Further, the manufacturers fail to provide any mechanism for customizing the notification contents as per individual liking. Moreover, limited notification content is with respect to communication device of called party. There is no mechanism of control for notification content (not even for tunes; for the other party i.e. the calling party) . Thus, current tune notification systems within the communication devices provide limited control to the user for his own device.

Asides, the communication service providers also provide Ring back tone service or network generated ring, to notify the caller that communication is being established between the Calling Party (CallER) and Called Party (CalllED). A Ringback Tone is the Sound heard by a calling party (CallER) on a telephone after connection is made to a called party and prior to the called party (CallED) answering the call. The standard Ringback tone in wireline and wireless systems is different in various countries. This Ringback tone service is commonly associated with the terminating (CallED) subscriber. Generally, a standard tone is prevalent in a country. Services providers have eventually offered certain set of musical tones to be set as ringback tone; wherein each service provider may offer different sets of tones. A subscriber can select from said set of musical tones to configure the same as ringback tone. So, that shall be generic to all calling parties when the subscriber is the called party. This limits the flexibility of choice. There is no much flexibility to the users to explore diverse contents as per their preferences. There are also no chances of upgradation with latest music; if the service providers do not offer that as a part of their set. However, the known systems have failed to propose or practically implement any mechanism that can provide diverse contents from which called party can select contents for the calling party. Further, there is lack of any customization options for configuring different contents for different calling parties. Neither there has been an exploration with respect to setting videos etc. as content for ring back tone.

This limits the flexibility of the users to explore diverse contents as per their preferences. It may so happen that the users do not like any content from the list provided by service providers; to be selected from. This is becoming a more actual scenario as liking and preferences to type of music/ videos etc differ drastically amongst people; especially between generations. The liking and preferences also differ between citizens of different regions; professionals or different field; people with different religious beliefs etc. Had they been given options to freely choose the content of notification; a diverse list of content be generated; which existing system used by service providers would never be in position to provide.

Further, existing system fail to provide customization with respect to content; say configuring customized notification contents for different days and/or events etc.; specifically with respect to ring back tones. Neither there is a provision for personalization and individualization such as selecting specific notification content for specific days for specific person i.e. to be played as notification content on specific days while communicating with said specific persons. This limits exploration and applicability of existing notification systems. Thus, there is no provision of customization, personalization or individualization; while we consider existing notification systems.

A further problem with currently used ring back tone services is that, the calling party is neither being consented nor has a control over what he hears, once he initiates a communication; say dials a phone number and is waiting for the call to be established. The lack of control and consent is particularly troublesome when callers find the ring back tone selected by the called party to be annoying or even offensive. Compounding the problem is the fact that the service provider does not have control over messages coming from "off network.” Also the Communication service providers have confined themselves in providing Control over the services rather than focusing on services which seeks users consent. Further, there are certain options with a few of the existing notification systems to overwrite the ring back tone subscribed by all called party and to play a standard tone. However, said service adds to cost; that too a cost to be bared at every bill cycle. Additionally, this provide limited control to the users with respect to the existing notification system. The calling party choosing said service cannot pick and choose the called parties; who’s ring back tone he wants to hear or whose ring back tone he does not want to hear. The lack of control keeps such users away from enjoying notification contents at all. So, no control with the users is a real pain.

Consent of the User is still an issue which has not been addressed either by the communication device provider or Communication service provider. Consent along with personalization and Customization of Tune Notification is another challenge which existing service providers have failed to address.

Said difficulties with the system also arise because of absence of interactive selection and configuration along with customization. The existing systems have failed to provide any such interactive customizations for notification services and the contents.

Recent trends in communication includes sharing thoughts, messages, pictures, videos, audios, documents etc through messenger applications; in pre-formed“groups. However, this is limited to“sharing” through messenger application. When it comes to notification of said messages in said“groups”, the communication devices of the users use the tune notifications available in the user communication devices. There is again no flexibility to the same. Moreover, it lacks customization and personalization. As of yet none of the communication service providers, Vendors or OEM’s could implement the same considering the complexity attached to the implementation. Uncertainty in Return on Investment (ROI) is another concern regarding group tune notifications. There could be many possible reasons why Group Tune Notification system is not yet implemented commercially by any of the communication service providers. Providing flexibility with respect to content, customization and personalization is far to think of; from the available technologies.

With communication service providers claiming to provide some sort of individualized and customized service related to Tune Notification, they also had to cater to another issue in terms of Management of Service provided and provisioning of service based on Users request. This resulted in further complexity on part of users to access the Tune Notification service. Communication service providers had to deploy various means i.e. WWW, WAP, IVR or SMS interface for users to avail that limited and so called individualized and customized Tune Notification service.

There is hardly any exploration with respect to reverse ring back tones and its contents. A reverse ring back tone is the notification service that plays notification content on the communication device of a called party; that is configured by the calling party. Said mechanism is not yet available with existing communication device providers or notification service providers. Introduction of said can ease the communication; say by conveying the matter; even if the called party is unable to pick up the call at that moment. Advertising shall be benefited tremendously. However, existing systems have no provisions nor contents for it.

Further, when communication and notification contents are considered, only mobile numbers are the communication end points that are considered and explored; other communication end points including mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID are not considered and explored with respect to notification content.

The limited notification content diversity, lack of customization, personalization and individualization; lack of control over users and over contents; lack of interactiveness of the existing system limits the applicability of existing system such as:

• in advertising, • personal expressions via notification systems such as greetings,

• customization,

• content sharing,

• emergency;

• etc.

It is pertinent to note that Application of existing system and technologies by communication service Providers was to target users / customers who were ready to pay for the differentiated service related to Tune Notification, along with its services being preferred by big corporates for advertising and branding activities. With users showing keen interest in use of such differentiated service, opportunity to serve this customers seemed certain, which had huge potential of generating revenue and profitability for the companies and communication service providers. This led to emergence of some of the big companies operating in Prior Art’s along with its collaboration with communication service provider worldwide. Some of the companies include ONMOBILE, IMI MOBILE, COMVIVA, SPICE, and ONE97 who have global presence in exclusively providing such differentiated Tune Notification service.

The service could have been a big help to small traders, SME’s & business who could have used it for their branding and marketing activity. But, since they did not have access to the Tune Notification Platform and the service being controlled by Communication service providers, majority of them failed to use the service or were devoid of using it for their branding activity. The possible reason seemed to be awareness to use the platform, stringent content screening process by communication service provider, possible revenue potential from SME’s and stringent telecom norms seems to be some of them , but this surely devoid the small time traders & SME’s who could have benefitted immensely with use of available Tune Notification Platform.

Asides, the revenue sharing model is so skewed that 60%-80% of revenue generated would go to communication service providers, 10%- 20% would go to technology enablers like ONMOBILE, IMI MOBILE, COMVIVA, SPICE, and ONE97 , 5%- 10% would go to content aggregators and rest 3%-5% to content creators.

With the advent of technology & innovation, there has been revolution in terms of Mobile handsets which are manufactured by OEM’s across the world. Smart Phones has changed the dynamics, in the way mobile phone users are using their hand held devices. Asides communication service providers are upgrading their network from 2G to 3G, 3G to 4G, and 4G to 5G to service the ever increasing need for users to access information on their Smart Phones or Smart Hand Held devices.

In spite of all this there has been little or no efforts done to improve the existing Tune Notification system provided by OEM’s /Device Manufacturer or Communication service providers. Users consent and control on content/ Users of tune notification still seems to have an archaic approach. Audio content is still preferred for Tune Notification. Customization & Personalization of Tune Notification along with consent and control over content and users is still missing with very little Interactivity between the users of services. Existing Prior Art’s related to Tune Notification service provided by communication service provider’s lacks interactivity between the service providers and Users/ Customer of the service. It’s a one way interaction wherein the Users select content i.e. audio file based on his liking & preference from limited collection of audio files provided by communication service providers/ Vendors and enables it without seeking consent of the users who would be affected by the service he has opted for. The lack of Customization and personalization of service based on Users own content, his preferred content and both the service users consent i.e. one who enables the service and one who is affected by the service gets an option to avail or decline the service.

Thus, a need exists to provide a notification system that offers interesting and diverse notification contents; along with its control to the users.

PRIOR ART

Relevant prior work done and Tune Notification systems claimed by different inventors are listed herein below:

1) METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING RING BACK TONE Patent No.: US 7796743 B2

The Patent“METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING RING BACK TONE” (Patent No.: US 7796743 B2), by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd is related to Ring Back Tone service provided by Communication service provider. The primary characteristic of ring back tone service lies in that a piece of melodious music, sound or voice to replace the existing network ring. When a caller (calling party) calls a party that has subscribed to ring back tone service, the ring back tone is played to the calling party, instead of the current standing (current standard network) ringing signal/ tone. A ring back tone can be assigned as a default to all incoming numbers, a group of numbers or a single number. A customer can purchase/ lease multiple ring back tones. However, the disclosed system has Complexity in implementation of Ringback Tone service; there is only audio; which is available as Ringback Tone; it doesn’t seek users consent prior to enabling the service; commercially only default RBT service for all incoming calls to called party is provided. Personalization, customization and Group RBT is still not provided in majority of the markets.

The Ring Back Tone service allows Communication service providers to provide Individualized and differentiated service for its Users who enable such service, but neither does it take consent, nor does it provide options to other users who are basically affected or listen to the customized ring back tone configured for them.

Calling Party is basically affected by the song selected as RBT by Called Party. However, there are no provisions to have consent from Calling Party on what he/ she is listening.

2) METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RINGBACK TONE PERSONALIZATION

Patent No.: US 8774385 B2 The Patent “METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RINGBACK TONE PERSONALIZATION” (Patent No. : US 8774385 B2) by Ericsson Inc. is related to ring back tone service that may be personalized by a calling party instead of a called party. The calling party generates and stores an originating profile that contains Ring Back Tones or Ring back messages associated with a Ring Back Tone subscriber (Called Party) . When the calling party contacts the called party, the Ring back Tone chosen by the Calling Party and associated with Called party is then sent to the calling party until the called party answers the call.

Yet another ring back tone service which basically helps caller to avoid that unwanted ring back tone subscribed by any user i.e. called party. The service has been marketed and sold to the users as personalization of ring back tone. The CallER preference is checked when the CallED user is a Ringback Tone subscriber of the operator/ communication service provider, where CallER personalization is provided. If the CallED user is not a Ring back Tone subscriber, then the CallER preference is not utilized, thus the CallFR will hear standard ringing.

A Ring back Tone has different designations with different operator such as Personal Greeting Service (Ericsson), Caller Tunes (T-Mobile), Answer Tones (Cingular), etc., but none of them have invested nor shown interest in seeking users consent for the services which are been marketed and sold. Yet another Ring back Tone service, which ideally helps the Calling Party (CallER) to control the annoying ring back tone subscribed by Called Party(CallED) . The above prior art fails to provide Consent to the Calling Party. Any annoying RBT is enabled by Called Party, Calling Party can control it by subscribing to above prior art for Called Party specific service. Wherein: i. If there are multiple RBT users with annoying RBT, then Calling Party has to subscribe for multiple PRIOR ART service related to multiple Called Party numbers.

ii. It’s a paid service and Calling party ends up paying more for each called party number, as it doesn’t seek his consent before enabling such service which affect him.

3) CALLING PARTY CONTROLLED RINGBACK TONES - Patent No.: US 8953769 B2

The Patent“CALLING PARTY CONTROLLED RINGBACK TONES” (Patent No.: US 8953769 B2) enables a Calling Party (CallER) to control ring back tones, even overriding Called (CallED) party selected ring back tones.

The lack of control was particularly troublesome when callers find the ring back tone selected by the called party to be annoying or even offensive. Compounding the problem was the fact that the service provider does not have control over messages coming from "off network.” The control permits blocking of called party selected ring back tones, and could include the playing of a Substitute ring back tone that the calling party has chosen.

This feature gives the calling party control over what they hear but the user ends up paying more to avail that substitute ring back tone, as the calling party has to purchase/ lease or opt for a standard ringing tone option. Communication service providers have provided the control option but the intention was to generate additional revenue from such services rather than providing options or taking users consent whether they want to be part of such service

It enables Caller Specific RBT for all outgoing calls done by him. The Caller gets to listen to RBT enabled based on his liking and overrides the RBT enabled by Called Party. However, the practical problem here is:

i. Users has to pay for this service.

ii. There is a dependency on the service provider.

iii. Once the RBT is overridden, then the user cannot take benefit of RBT set by other users; which he may like.

iv. It’s not implemented in Majority of Markets and is thus not practically provided to the users.

4) SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CALLER-CONTROLLED TUNE NOTIFICATION OF A CALL

Pub. No. : US 2009/0316875 A1

The Patent “SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CALLER-CONTROLLED TUNE NOTIFICATION OF A CALL” (Pub. No. : US 2009/0316875 Al) by When placing a call to a called party, a caller may often desire to provide an indication of his or her identity to the called party, or to attract the attention of the called party so that the called party is more likely to answer the call. The Tune Notification of a Call was developed to overcome the conventional telephone network, which controls the notification rings including musical tunes for the Call recipient.

Tune notification controlled by a caller would allow a caller to be identified by the called (CallED) party with a unique tune. In addition, call notifications with tunes controlled by a Caller would allow the caller to select a tune that corresponds with an emotion likely to be evoked by the call content. For example, a caller could associate a happy tune with a happy message call, a serious tune with a business call, a playful or light-hearted tune with a surprise message call, and so on.

The above stated Patent fails to seek consent of the Called Party for the tune notification heard by them or provide control to the Called Party for the tune notification set by Caller. Due to the complexity attached to the implementation of the service, and the nature of service being controlled by Caller, there are high chances of it being misused and hence the service is not commercially implemented by any of Communication service providers.

5) RINGBACK TONE BOOKMARK REQUEST BY CALLING PARTY Pub. No. : US 2007/0003047 A1

“RINGBACK TONE BOOKMARK REQUEST BY CALLING PARTY” (Pub. No.: US 2007 /0003047 Al) is related to identification of ring back tone. Upon receipt of bookmark request from calling party, identification information related to ring back tone is stored for later access by calling party. After hearing the ring back tone on the call, the calling party may like the ring back tone. However, the calling party may not recognize the ring back tone. Therefore, the calling party may want to learn the identification details of the ring back tone. For example, where the ring back tone is a song, the calling party may want to know the name of the Song and/or the name of the artist. Also, where the calling party is a ring back tone service Subscriber, the subscriber may want to learn the identification details so that the Subscriber can purchase the ring back tone and in turn subsequently provide the same ring back tone to other callers that call the subscriber.

Communication service providers have deployed such service in their network to facilitate and create convenience for the ring back tone service Users. The emphasis for any communication service providers is to provide ease and convenience, so that the service can be used by masses which could help them drive revenues.

The above stated prior arts from Communication service providers and Vendors are clear indication of the fact that Consent and Control on service was never a priority for them. None of them tried to enable the service which could seek users Consent.

PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRIOR ART

The main problem associated with existing PRIOR ART is that they don’t seek user’s consent i.e. for whom the service is enabled, considering the nature of service. None of the prior arts provides control on Users who could/ should be allowed to configure/ set tune notification for communication device/ service.

Only Audio could be used as tune notification by existing Communication service/ device providers and Prior Art’s in the field of network and communications.

Communication service/ device providers have limitations in terms of content which could be used as tune notification. Users get to select the content from the limited content libraries based on their interests and likings.

None of the Prior Art discussed or communication service providers & vendors have enabled users with the capability to customize user specific content based on their liking and preference. Since user had to opt for the content provided by the communication service providers or Vendors, the control was somewhat limited to content used for Tune Notification.

Due to complexity associated with ring back tone service implementation i.e. existing Prior Art’s, it’s unfortunate that none of communication service providers are equipped to provide personalization and customization of tune notification. Every additional service is used as an opportunity to charge Users, which demotivates its use. Existing service providers have failed to provide Group Tune Notification due to complexity of implementation and uncertainty in ROI (Return on Investment) attached to it.

Ring back tone service platforms are controlled by Communication service providers, and due to stringent regulations and policies, access and availability of platform is limited for SME’s.

The other problem associated with tune notification is, users have dependency on communication service/ device providers.

The other problem associated tune notification i.e. ring back tone is a PAID service.

To avoid content which is annoying or even offensive, users ends up paying more for the service.

The other problem is related to complexity associated with activation/ deactivation, audio file selection, subscriber account modification etc. through WWW, WAP, IVR or SMS interfaces for Tune notification service provided by Operators.

Further, there are complexity attached to implementation of ring back tone service, which has devoid many markets of using ring back tone and Caller Controlled Tune Notification as a service. The technical Complexity relates to Implementation of Solution with respect to:

• Network Connectivity ( Signaling and Voice/ data channels)

• Network Configuration Provisioning of Service

Existing commercial services related to Tune Notification provided by various operators/ communication service providers/ OEM /Vendors across the world and Prior Arts published, none of them provide complete control on content & Users of Tune Notification system. Existing Invention provides the same.

Existing systems suffer from absence of interactive selection and configuration along with customization. The existing systems have failed to provide any such interactive customizations for notification services and the contents.

When communication and notification contents are considered, only mobile numbers are the communication end points that are considered and explored; other communication end points including mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID are not considered and explored with respect to notification content.

Thus, there is an unmet need to provide a notification system that provides full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices and over the users. There is also a need to provide interactive platform for the system that allows customization, personalization and individualization without dependency on the service providers.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PRESENT INVENTION The main objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that provides full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control which allows Calling Party to select content of the notification being used for notification from their communication devices to notify the Called Party; while also providing provision for seeking consent of said Called Party regarding the content of notification being played on said Called Party. Thereby enabling present system to provide control of contents of notification to the called party also; along with the control to calling party through their communication devices.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that provides complete control to users, related to content of the notification being played on their communication devices.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that provide complete notification control to both the Calling party and the Called party with respect to Ringtone, Ringback Tone and Caller Controlled Tune Notification, which includes Calling and Called Party’s consent before enabling any service for them. The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that provides variety in use of content i.e. use of music, audio, video and image which could be used as tune notification.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that provides control on users who could/ should configure/ set a tune notification to be played on their communication devices.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that is interactive and thus allows interactive content selection, upgradation of contents as and when user wishes; interactive consent and control; making the system such that allows customization, personalization and individualization; without depending on service provider.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that provide personalization and customization of tune notification based on user’s interest and likings, to as many users they want it to be enabled.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that provide users with features and functionality like Group tune notification based on one’s personal, professional and social engagement.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that enriches the notification contents and thereby enriches the communications; that too, for free.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that to overcome the complexity associated with activation/ deactivation, audio file selection, and subscriber account modification through WAP, IVR or SMS interfaces for Ring Back Tone (RBT), Reverse RBT service.

The other objective of the present invention is to provide a Notification system with user consent and control that enables configuration of notification content and all aforesaid benefits of the present system while any of the communication end points including mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID are considered and explored with respect to notification content. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:

The present invention embodies a notification system that provides full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices and over the users. There is also a need to provide interactive platform for the system that allows customization, personalization and individualization without dependency on the service providers.

Said notification system with user consent and control provides interactive access to diverse categories of notification contents the communicating parties (calling party and called party); unlike that of the prior art. This further allows Calling Party to select notification content of to be used for notification from their communication devices for different notification services while communicating with the Called Party. Present system also provides provision for seeking consent of said Called Party regarding the content of notification being played on said Called Party. Thereby enabling present system to provide control of contents of notification to the called party also; along with the control to calling party through their communication devices.

In addition, the present invention provides a provision to select the content of notification content to be played on communication device of the Called party; when the call is placed by the Calling Party. The present invention provides provisions for consent of said called party with respect to the content of notification being selected by said calling party. Similarly, content of the Ringtone, Ring back tone and Reverse Ring back tone services (notification services) are all provided with provisions of selection of content of Ringback tone by the Called party for the calling party and its consent by said calling party.

Said content includes and is not limited to categories such as music, audio, video, image, contents from the service provider, contents from Device manufacturer, and contents from third party or combinations thereof.

Moreover, the present system provides provisions with respect to control of users that can set varied notification content for the user. A user may select specific users who can or cannot enable notification contents for their communication devices.

Thus, present Notification system with user consent and control provides full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices.

Said system provides personalization & customization of content, based on their preference, interest & liking for users/ groups and enables it as a tune notification based on their consent. Said system also provides tools to create personalized & customized content which could be used for Tune Notification based on user’s personal, social & professional engagement. Said system provides complete control on tune notification configured by/for users. Said System is single platform which enables its users to access personalized and customized Ringtone, Ringback Tone and Reverse Ringback Tone as a services.

Moreover, present system enables configuration of notification content and all aforesaid benefits of the present system while any of the communication end points including mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID are considered and explored with respect to notification content.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVETION:

The present invention embodies Notification System with User Consent and Control. Said notification system (P) that provides full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices and over the users. Present system (P) also provides interactive platform for the system that allows customization, personalization and individualization without dependency on the service providers.

Referring to Fig. 1 ; the present Notification system (P) with user consent and control mainly comprises of:

• Calling Device Module (Cing)

• Called Device Module (Ced)

• Notification Module (NM) further comprising of:

o Platform Management (PM),

o Storage Element (SE),

o Processing means (PR),

o User Management (UM),

o Device Management (DM), o Content Management (CM),

o Service management (SM).

Said Calling Device Module (Cing) is a communication device wherein said communication device is with configuration of present system (P) . Said Calling Device Module (Cing) allows the user of the present system (P) to communicate with the other user of present system (P) through communication modes including call, message, chat, video chat etc. Said Calling Device Module (Cing) is used by the “calling party” to initiate the call or other communication modes for communicating with the “Called Party” through their Called Device Module (Ced). Said Calling Device Module (Cing) of the present notification system (P) enables the user to configure the notification content for“Called Party” to be played on the Display (CDed) of their Called Device Module (Ced) for notifying about the communication by the Said Calling Device Module (Cing) . Said notification content is selected from amongst various content categories; by the calling party through its Said Calling Device Module (Cing). Said Calling Device Module (Cing) enables control over selection of content and Notification service (selection of content for selected calling party); unlike the prior art. Meaning thereby, the Device Module (Cing) allows “calling party” to configure contents for all notification services:

User can configure a ringtone for himself with a notification content according to his preference and liking.

User is also allowed to configure a ring-back tone content to hear while calling a/ any“called party”. User is also allowed to configure notification content for reverse ring back tone to be played on the Called Device Module (Ced) “called party”.

User has flexibility of choosing different notification content for different “called party” or different Called Device Module (Ced) . This enables the users to access and utilize diverse notification contents and configure them based on their preference and liking. The user has control over contents, services and user for configuration and customization. This provides personalization as well as individualization. Same is allowed to be set for individuals as well as groups.

For Eg. If the user has opted for Ringback tone service personalized and customized by Called Device Module (Ced) user, Notification content for the same will be heard or Displayed on Display of Calling Device Module (Cing), in all other instances Notification content for Ringback Tone service selected by Calling Device Module (Cing) will be heard or played.

This enables personalization, customization and individualization through present system (P).

Said Calling Device Module (Cing) is any communication device that includes but is not limited to mobile phones, laptops, computers and other devices enabling communicating with others.

Said Calling Device Module (Cing) further comprises of:

□ Display (CDing)

□ Storage (CSing)

□ Notification Content (CNing) □ Consent (CCsing)

□ Control (CCning)

□ Call detection means (CCding)

Wherein, said Display of the Calling Device Module (Cing) allows the user i.e. Calling Party to interact with the Module (Cing) and thereby the present system (P) . The user can select content for notification through the said Display from Notification Contents (CNing) for himself and the Called Party/ s or Group /s for his contacts from the Storage (CSing) . The Content (Csing) of the Calling Device Module (Cing) allows access to all content categories from Storage Element of the Notification Module (NM) which includes Audio, Video, Image, contents from Device Manufacturer, Contents from Third Party, Contents from stored merged contents etc. Said stored merged contents include contents developed by user by merging two or more content from same or different categories. For example, when an audio and an image are merged and saved, that forms a merged content. The Consent (CCsing) provision is useful when other users configure content to be played on the screen of Calling Device Module (Cing); when they shall be called (to form Called Party; for that instance) . Said Consent (CCsing) provision shall enable the user to allow or to block configuration:

by a particular Called Party or

for a particular content.

That is parties (Calling Parties) have control to configure for others (Called Parties) and to allow or block other for configuring content for them. The call detection means (CCding) of the Calling Device Module shall detect the initiation of the call and accordingly trigger playing of notification content; in accordance with the present invention. This makes the present system interactive system for content selection with provisions of consent and control; which is unlike that of the prior art; which has limited access and interaction with the system for notification.

Said Called Device Module (Ced) is the communication device of Called Party wherein said communication device is with configuration of present system (P); which allows the user of the present system (P) to communicate with the Calling user of present system (P) through communication modes including call, message, chat, video chat etc. Said Called Device Module (Ced) receives the communication from the Said Calling Device Module (Cing) . Said Called Device Module (Ced) represents communication device with installed components of the present system of a“Called Party”. Said Called Device Module (Ced) enables the user to access the benefits of the present system (P) and allows the called party to access the configured notification content for said called party by said calling party to be played on the Display (CDed) of their Called Device Module (Ced) for notifying about the communication by the Said Calling Device Module (Cing) . Present system (P) further enables said Called Party to allow or block any calling party to configure the notification content to be played on display of said Called Device Module (Ced) . It also provides control over allowing or blocking accessed notification content set by the Calling Device Module (Cing) to be played on their display (CDed) as notification content. This provides control to the called party over the:

calling parties who can configure notification content for him / her; and Contents of notification.

If allowed, the notification content is played on the display of Called Device Module (Ced) . Whenever the Said Called Device Module (Ced) receives the incoming call, reverse ring back tone service is triggered on the Called Device Module (Ced) based on his (called party’s) consent to opt for reverse ring back tone service for that particular Calling Device Module (Cing) user. Also the Said Called Device Module (Ced) allows user to set Ringtone for his own device module (Cing) from diverse content category selection based on his preference and liking; to be played while he is called by someone else.

Based on the preference, liking, consent and control over the services offered by present system, Notification content related to services opted by the Called Device Module (Ced) is enabled. For Eg. If the user has opted for Reverse Ringback tone service personalized and customized by Calling Device Module (Cing) user, Notification content for the same will be heard or Displayed on the Display of Called Device Module (Ced), in all other instances Notification content for Ringtone service selected by Called Device Module (Ced) will be heard or played.

This makes the present system interactive system for content selection with provisions of consent and control; which is unlike that of the prior art; which has limited access and interaction with the system for notification. Said Called Device Module (Ced) is any communication device that includes but is not limited to mobile phones, laptops, computers and other devices enabling communicating with others.

Said Called Device Module (Ced) further comprises of:

□ Display (CDing)

□ Storage (CSing)

□ Notification Content (CNing)

□ Consent (CCsing)

□ Control (CCning)

□ Call detection means (CCding)

Wherein, said Display of the Called Device Module (Ced) allows the user i.e. Called Party to interact with the Module (Ced) and thereby the present system (P) . The Called party can access the list of Calling Parties; including groups that has configured notification content for them. The Called Party can allow or block the Calling Party to configure notification content for them. This provides control to the users for allowing other parties to configure notification content for them. The called party can also view and control the notification content configured for group/ s and individual. In addition, each content can be viewed by the Called Party through Display (CDed) of his Called Device Module (Ced). For which, the notification is played if he has consented i.e. allowed playing of contents configured to be played on Display (CDed) of his Called Device Module (Ced) . This facilitates present system (P) to provide consent and control over users and content for the notification system (P). Said Called user can also use notification content (CNed) and storage (CSed) to configure notification content for the other parties (This shall convert the said called user to a calling party for that instance); which is done in same way as described for the Calling Device Module (Cing).

Further, in addition to access for interaction with the system and selecting the notification content for utilizing the present system; said Display (CDed) of the Device Module (Ced) displays the notification content as allowed by the Called Party through the present system (S) as explained herein above. Said notification content includes all content categories that is chosen for display on Called party’s display (CDed) by the Called party; i.e. audio, video, image or inter-category.

Said Device Module’s Storage (CSing and CSed) is for storage of contacts for which notification is to be configured and the contents for notification, which are to be configured for the selected users (called party) or for group. The notification content stored here shall be retrieved and played on said Display (CDed) of the Called Device Module (Ced) whenever the said called party receives a notification. The notification for said communication will be personalized and customized notification as enabled on their Device Modules (Cing and Ced) based on their preference and liking for particular individual or member of group, regardless of the communication device upon which communication is received.

Said Call Detection Module (CCding and CCded) is important component of said Device Module (Cing and Ced), which detects specific call states, based on which Notification Services like Ringtone, Ringback Tone, Reverse Ringback Tone are triggered for users of communication devices. Call Detection Module successfully detects states i.e. for outgoing call, Ringback Tone service is triggered and for incoming call, Ringtone or Reverse Ringback Tone service is triggered. Call Detection module triggers the service and information related to Notification content is successfully retrieved from Device Storage to be displayed, viewed and heard by the users of the communication devices. All the information related to users, individual, Group, Blocked User, and Content etc. are stored in Device Storage, post User interaction with Consent and Control means of Device Module.

Below table shows that based on the call state detection, certain notification services are triggered:

When the user of the presents system (P) receives a call (Incoming call state) the notification service triggered is Ringtone; wherein Ringtone content as selected by the Called Party for his Called Device Module (Ced) is played on his Display (CDed) . Similarly, in case he has consented to a notification content set for him by any calling party through present system, then while receiving a call from said calling party; said consented content is played as a reverse ring back content. Similarly, while a calling party initiates a call (Outgoing Call); then he can hear consented Ring back tone or a ring back tone configured by himself for his own calling device module (Cing) to be played while calling others.

Device Service Management within the Calling Device Module (Cing) and Called Device Module (Ced) allows management of present system locally on their communication device and facilitates localized access and avoids any secrecy issues with respect to contact list, preferences which also enables the user to make changes in the preferences, configurations, generation of categories, generation of merged contents

Said Notification Module (NM) facilitates the configuration and registration of the present system (P) on the Device Modules (Cing and Ced) and processing consent and control of users and notification content for said devices (Cing and Ced) . It also allows management of Users, Devices, content and Services. The notification content categories access and processing is done by notification module (NM) to provide the provisions allowing the present system (P) to meet with the objectives of the present system (S) .

Said Notification module (NM) is a preferably a Cloud Based Server that provides access to Notification platform Users, Device Modules (Cing and Ced) and Communication Devices which are used for Communication, to avail Notification benefits based on User’s Consent, and Control over content and its Users. The Notification module (NM) also provides management of Consent and Control which plays a key role in enabling or disabling the Notification content on the (Cing and Ced), based on users consent related to content (referred to herein collectively for Audio, Video, Image & combination of Image and Audio or sound) which is configured as Notification content for his or her (Cing and Ced).

Notification Module (NM) further comprising of:

o Platform Management (PM)

o Storage Element (SE)

o Processing means (PR)

o User Management (UM)

o Device Management (DM)

o Content Management (CM)

o Service management (SM)

Said Platform Management (PM) identifies Device Modules (Cing and Ced) that installs the present system (P), technology or independent platform and application used for communication on Device Modules (Cing and Ced). For. Eg. Telecom Network is a combination of a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) providing access to tradition analog phones, a Mobile/ Cellular Network for cellular phones, Data Network which is dependent on Internet Protocol (IP) & backbone for variety of communications.

One or more individual Users may utilize a number of Device Modules (Cing and Ced) attached to the Telecom Network and/ or Data Network. For example, the user may utilize an analog or VOIP telephone for voice calls, a cellular telephone for voice calls and text messaging, a personal computer or Tablet for voice/ video call, or instant messaging/ call. Said Storage Element (SE) stores complete information with respect to Notification of present system (P) . The information pertains to:

Users

Devices

Enabled or Disabled notifications,

Platform Users,

Groups,

Device Modules (Cing and Ced),

Communication end points,

Blocked and permanently allowed User list,

Notification Service i.e. Ringtone, Ringback Tone, Reverse Ringback Tone related to individual users,

Groups.

Consent and Control information related to Tune Notification service offered.

Said information is used by the present system while the Device Module (Cing and Ced) seeks access to the diverse content for notification to configure it for the selected Called Parties. The system accesses the storage to check whether particular called party; for whom the configuration of the notification content is accessed is registered for the present system (P) or not. Further, while a communicating party calls the other, storage is accessed to check whether said content is to be retrieved and played or is it disabled by the called party (content is consented or not); also Communication end points are accessed from the storage element (SE); Blocked and permanently allowed User list are also checked; type of Notification Service i.e. Ringtone, Ringback Tone, Reverse Ringback Tone related to individual users is also retrieved from same. Groups related notification functionality are also accessed from here. Consent and Control information related to Tune Notification service offered. Where the communication devices which are unable to process and store notification content would access Notification module for its Notification content storage (SE) via computer to be registered and verified for use Notification system. (FIG. l .)

In alternative cases where the communication devices like mobile are used for this system; and have localized storage; Storage of said device (CSing and CSed) is used for storage and access of user data, content of notification and such others. This ensures personalization and avoids secrecy issues; if any.

Said Processing Means (PR) processes the retrieved user data and notification contents from the storage (SE) to allow access to diversity of stored content categories, merge the contents, set preferences as per likings, allowing or blocking Calling Parties to set any notification content for them; allowing or blocking content set by any calling party; thereby providing complete control over notification system (P) on user’s Device Module (Cing and Ced). The consent and control features make the present system interactive unlike that of the prior art. User of present system (P) s completely involved in selecting notification content from diverse content categories and its customization, personalization and individualization . The Processing Means (PR) further comprises of:

• Content Module (PCT) for retrieving notification contents from Storage Element (SE) and further processing them to o configure it for any individual or group through content configuration means (PCTd);

o setting category preferences for individual or a group through category preference means (PCTa);

o Merging notification contents including:

inter category contents

intra category contents;

and Generating merged content through Category merging means (PCTb);

o Configuring merged content for individual or group through content configuration means (PCTd);

o Generating new category of contents through category generating means (PCTc).

Already saved categories and its contents are used to configure it for individual or group and merge them. Further, as and when the user prefers additional categories (not already stored in storage element (SE)); category generating means (PCTc) allows generating a new category and use the same thereafter to configure it for individual or group.

• Consent Module (PCS) facilitates consent from the called party whether to enable the notification content set by any calling party for display on his Device Module (Ced) . This interactive provision enable seeking consent from the user’s device module (Cing or Ced) with respect to notification contents of only those users whom the called party consents to configure contents of their liking or consent with respect to content from each party who has set notification content for him (called party) based on his liking and preferences. The called party can disable the content of the ones which are not of his/her liking. Control Module (PCN) facilitates control over users and content. To facilitate the consent, said consent module (PCS) has:

o Call detection means (PCSa) to detect the call and trigger the playing of the notification content on display (CDed) if the called party has enabled the same o To detect whether the notification content is enabled or blocked; Block detection means (PCSb) detects the system to check whether the notification content set calling party at that instance; is being blocked or not by said called party or not. If not blocked; it will play the notification content on display (CDed). If calling party or content from it is blocked by the called party; then the standard notification content shall play. Usual cases includes a standard tune.

• Control module (PCN) provides control to the users with respect to allowing or blocking users or contents. The control module (PCN) allows user to decide whether to enable the notification content set by any calling party for display on his Device Module (Ced) or not. In addition, user can also decide whether to allow or block any particular content to be displayed on his Device Module (Ced); as notification content or not. This interactive provision enable selecting notification contents of only those users whom the calling party expects contents of his liking or can select the content from each party who has set notification content for him (called party) based on his liking and preferences and can disable the content of the ones which are not of his liking. Users of the communication devices can easily enable or disable the content configured for them as Notification content, if they find it offensive or abusive. At the same time, users can also Block other User from configuring any future Notification content if he wants to.

Said processing means (PR) facilitate user specific Notification content, with consent and control on content and users across all communication devices utilized, the Notification Module (NM) provides Service Management module (SM) which provides facilities to ensure, that the information related to notification content configured by users of communication device is enabled or disabled based on the users liking. The synchronization service is a service used to update information related to Device Module and relevant details related to Users Consent and control over content and other users to relevant modules of Present System. It synchronizes based on inputs received from Device management (DM) and User management (UM) . Any changes related to user consent about the content or users of the communication devices is dynamically updated from Device Modules (Cing and Ced) to service management (SM), which in turn is updated to content management (CM) and User management (UM) for effective management of Tune Notification service and Users of the Platform.

Notification module (NM) utilizes Synchronization (SMs), which then notifies the users as individuals or members of the Group of other Device Modules (Ced) of the changes to the Notification content and updates them accordingly. Changes regarding notification service or its content is also notified accordingly.

As mentioned earlier herein above, said Notification services encompasses Ringtone, Ring back tone and Reverse ring back tone.

• User management (UM) facilitates management of various user data including user communication end points including mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID etc etc; used to avail benefits of present notification system (P) and related management. It enables the user to form group on the system (P) and manage the same for addition and/ or deletion of members from the group; adding and/or deleting a group.

Post User verification and registration, crucial information related to users of various communication endpoints & communication network/ Platform i.e. mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID etc are either managed locally on the communication devices or on the Tune Notification server based on device capabilities and technology. For e.g. For mobile phone users, In order to ensure security & avoid data theft, all the critical information related to Users Communication Devices i.e. mobile contacts & Data has been managed locally rather than being controlled / managed by the Tune Notification Server in the cloud.

• Said Device Management (DM) facilitates Registration of user on present Notification system (P), its verification and configuration. It additionally enables interactive communication with Device Modules (Cind and Ced) for communication notification with consent and control. It further has means for:

Verification verifies the detected Device Modules (Cind and Ced) by Platform Management (PM). All this devices, based on the technology and platform used is verified using various verification techniques like SMS/ Missed Called Alert / One Time Password or URL etc to enable registration

Configuration facilitates configuration of system (P) on Device Modules (Cind and Ced) for notification with consent and control.

Display interaction allows interaction between user and system. Communication devices which are verified are successfully mapped with various communication endpoints i.e. mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID etc , with respect to communication devices accessed by the user. The information related to devices and subsequent accessed communication end points are stored in Device management (NDM) and User management (NUM) module of Tune Notification server.

In addition, said Device management (NDM) stores details related to information on Device Modules (Cind and Ced) which was successfully verified and registered. Device Modules (Cind and Ced) includes details related to devices which are enabled for various other Device Modules (Cind and Ced), which could be bridged or otherwise interconnected, allowing communication via Telecom or Data Network & device types across the network. Communication devices may include but not limited to analog phone, Mobile/ Cell phone, VOIP Phones, PC, Tablets etc based on communication endpoints and technology used.

• Said Content Management (CM) allows management of the contents stored in the Storage Element (SE) . Management of content includes setting preferences from the contents for particular calling party or groups. This ensures access to diverse content categories stored in storage element (SE) and utilizing the same for customization, personalization and individualization. For the same, it further has: Customization means (CC) to provide flexibility in selection of contents from diverse content categories including audio, video, and images and/or merged contents that are merged using Category Merging Means (PCtb) of the Content Module (PCT) of the Processing means (PR) along with an option to select inter-category content. It provides flexibility to the users of communication devices to create, configure content for the users and groups of Present Notification system (P); based on the preference and liking of the users. Personalization Means (CP) allows the Calling Party to configure notification content for individual called parties and/or for groups. Thus, personalized contents can be configured for their friends, family and loved ones. They have an option to create Groups Notifications based on personal, social and professional level of engagement. Users of the present system (P) has an option to select content of notification for individual users or group based on their preference and liking. Individualization means (Cl) allows the Calling Party to configure notification content for individual called parties in individualized way; unlike that of prior art; wherein a selected content is usually generalized and being played for all communicating parties/ groups. Thus, individualized contents can be configured for each of their friends, family member/ s and loved one/s. Users of the present system (P) avail benefits of selecting content of notification for individual users or group based on their preference and liking.

• Said Service Management (SM) allows the user of the present system (P) to communicate with the system (P); synchronize their Device Module (Ced) with the present system and Maintenance. For the same, said Service Management (SM) further comprises of: o Communication Means (SMc) enables communication and thereby exchange of information between the Notification Module (NM) and Device Module (Cing and Ced) via DATA Network. Present Notification System (P) works in tandem with Telecom Network like PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), Cellular or Mobile Network, Voice over IP (VOIP), Instant Messaging (IM) etc., but has no dependency on Telecom Network to provide Notifications. o Synchronization Means (SMs) facilitates to ensure that information related to Device module (Cing and Ced) Users/ Group, Device Details, Content related to Notification, Consent and Control information is synchronized between the Notification Module (NM) and Device Modules (Cing and Ced) . The synchronization provide facility to accept changes made regarding change in notification content or user and synchronize the changes with Notification Module (NM) and concerned Platform Users. Synchronization service may flag the changes recorded, so that subsequent synchronization requests are made to concerned platform users and Tune Notification Server, to retrieve the changed information. For Example; any Platform user would like to change the Notification content set for particular Group, once the Group Notification content is changed with New Notification content, information related to change in Group Notification content is detected by Synchronization means, and updated to Consent and Control module, related to New Notification to be distributed to all the members of the Group by Synchronization means. The information related to change in content is detected by Consent and Content Module, which in turn updates the changes to User and Device Module, while Processing means access the details and instructs Synchronization means to update and distribute the changes. Post individual Group members acceptance to enable New Notification content, the content is stored and enabled for members of the Group for Notification service. Maintenance means (SMs) enables the Tune Notification service provider, to ensure effective and efficient functioning and regular health checkup of Device Modules. Referring to figure 2; shows a block diagram providing further details of the Calling Device Module (Cing) and Called Device Module (Ced), in accordance with exemplary embodiments. Said figure 2 clearly shows that present system enables access to set of all stored information including users/ group information, diverse notification contents and its enablement services along with Device Service Management within the Calling Device Module (Cing) and Called Device Module (Ced) itself. This facilitates localized access and avoids any secrecy issues with respect to contact list, preferences etc. Said Device service management enables the user to make changes in the preferences, configurations, generation of categories, generation of merged contents etc. Said Device service management serves as interactive tool for serving said purpose.

Referring to Fig. 3; which shows workflow for consent and control over variety of content; according to the present system. It illustrates work flow of present system for Consent and Control over variety of Content (audio, video or Images) which is used for Notification, according to embodiments described herein. Specifically, an embodiment is described for personalizing and customizing variety of content as Notification for communication modules (Cind and Ced) of the present system (P). It also includes the personalizing and customizing for groups.

EMBODIMENTS: In another embodiment of present invention; the Maintenance service component of the present system additionally enables the Notification service provider, to ensure effective and efficient functioning and regular health checkup of Notification module and Device Modules. The service is accessed via web browser on computer on regular basis for System Performance and Maintenance.

In yet another embodiment of the present invention, the Notification module provides the maintenance service available across the communications network that allows the user to maintain their Device address book or User Management component, as further illustrated in FIG. 1. The user may access the maintenance service through a Web browser, for example, executing on the PC attached to the communications network. The maintenance service may provide facilities for the user to add, modify, and delete the contacts and groups as well as update the ringtones and ringback tones associated with each, enable or disable the configured Tune Notification set by the User or permanently allow or Block users from setting up Notification in future. The maintenance service of Notification module allows the users of communication devices which are unable to process the content for Tune Notification locally or easily access and manage device address book locally. The maintenance service may provide the capability of the user to upload the ringtones and ringback tones from the PC or download ringtones and ringback tones from external sources. The ringtones and ringback tones may be available from external sources for free or for a charge, and may include a variety of music, video, Snippets from movies, recorded sounds, tones, MIDI files, etc. Any changes made both through the Device Module or Maintenance service component of Notification module are also detected and further communicated to the users of communication devices of the changes.

WORKING OF THE INVENTION

Present Notification system with user consent and control (P) requires a communication device, wherein present system is configured to take benefits of full control with respect to content of notifications being played on their communication devices and over the users. A communication device is selected. Most common communication device that people use and seek for notification systems with diversity of notification services, content and control; is a mobile device.

The working steps herein after explained for the purpose of present invention are illustratively explained with respect to mobile device as a communication device. However, present system (P) is not restricted to said device for applicability of the system (P) .

The working steps for the present system (P) are as explained herein below:

1. A communication device of a calling party is selected; preferably a mobile device and present system is configured within said device; wherein the user of the mobile phone i.e. the calling party registers the device and configures the present system (P) through Device management (DM) of the Notification module (NM) .

2. The user uses the Display (CDing) of his Device Module (Cing) to interact with the system (P) for registration and verification.

3. While configuration of the present system through system configuration of Device management (DM); said Platform Management (PM) of the Notification module (NM) identifies Device Modules (Cing and Ced) that installs the present system (P), technology or independent platform and application used for communication on Device Modules (Cing and Ced) . For. Eg. Telecom Network is a combination of a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) providing access to tradition analog phones, a Mobile/ Cellular Network for cellular phones, Data Network which is dependent on Internet Protocol (IP) & backbone for variety of communications. Communication devices which are verified are successfully mapped with various communication endpoints i.e. mobile number, Telephone number, email id, VOIP-ID etc , with respect to communication devices accessed by the user. The information related to devices and subsequent accessed communication end points are stored in the storage element (SE).

Present system (P) is then configured in the communication device wherein said communication device with configuration of present system forms said Calling Device Module (Cing) that further facilitates access to and control over the content categories and the contents to be stored and used for configuration as Notification content including ringtone, ring back tone and/or a reverse ring back tone for said Device Module which is a registered system user.

Referring to Figure 3, 4, 5 and 6; the Device Module (Cing) is then accessed for using the present system (P); further a called party is selected to configure a notification content. Here, the calling party has a complete control over choosing a called party for whom he wants to configure a notification content. The system (P) checks through its user management (UM) and storage element (SE) whether the user is a user of the present system or not. If the said called party is not the user; he can be invited to be a user of the same. Based on the preference, liking, consent and control over the content, Users and the service offered by present system, users of the present system can customize and personalize the services provided by present Notification system. Wherein, the said Display of the Calling Device Module (Cing) / Called Device Module (Ced) allows the user to interact with the Device Module and thereby the present system (P) . The user can select individual User or creates Group/ s for his contacts from various communication end points stored and managed by User Management (UM) and Device Management (DM) for various communication end points.

Upon selection of individual User or Group/ s, the user of the present Notification system selects Notification service to be configured or set for Individual User or Group/s. Users of the present system gets access to Notification services like Ringtone, Ringback Tone & Reverse Ringback tone that includes personalization and customization of content along with consent and control over users and content, for the users of present Notification system.

Below Table A., clearly reflects Notification service which is provided by existing Communication service provider and enhancement in features and functionality offered over the existing Notification Service by the present Notification system.

Users of the present Notification system gets complete control over users and content used for Notification service. At the same time users get personalization and customization of Notification content used for Notification services. Present system serves one stop solution of Notification services provided by communication service provider and communication device manufacturer with User Consent & Control over Notification services, Content and Users of Communication devices.

The present system provides highest level of interactivity between the users of the communication device with ability to decide in terms of Notification services to be availed or to be part of particular Notification service along with users consent and control on services offered, content used for Notification and Users of the communication devices. . Post selection of the service used for Notification, users of the platform selects or create his/her own Notification content which could be used for Notification service. Content Management (CM) and Processing Means (PR) plays the key role in terms of user’s ability to select diverse content which could be used for Notification service. Wherein Content Management (CM) allows management of the contents stored in the Storage Element (SE) . Management of content includes setting preferences from the contents for particular individual User or groups. This ensures access to diverse content categories stored in storage element (SE) and utilizing the same for customization, personalization and individualization. Customization means (CC) provide flexibility in selection of contents from diverse content categories including audio, video, and images and/or merged contents that are merged using Category Merging Means (PCtb) of the Content Module (PCT) of the Processing means (PR), along with an option to select inter category content. It provides flexibility to the users of communication devices to create, configure content for the users and groups of Present Notification system (P); based on the preference and liking of the users. Personalization Means (CP) allows the user to configure notification content for individual user and/or for groups. Thus, personalized contents can be configured for their friends, family and loved ones. They have an option to create Groups Notifications based on personal, social and professional level of engagement. Users of the present system (P) has an option to select content of notification for individual users or group based on their preference and liking. Users also have access to Individualization means (Cl) which allows the user to configure notification content for individual users; unlike that of prior art; wherein a selected content is usually generalized and being played for all communicating parties/ groups. Thus, individualized contents can be configured for each of their friends, family member/ s and loved one/s. Users of the present system (P) avail benefits of selecting content of notification for individual users or group based on their preference and liking.

Thereafter, the Content Module (PCT) for retrieving notification contents from Storage Element (SE) and further processing them allows to

o configure it for any individual or group through content configuration means (PCTd);

o setting category preferences for individual or a group through category preference means (PCTa); o Merging notification contents including:

inter category contents

intra category contents;

and Generating merged content through Category merging means (PCTb);

o Configuring merged content for individual or group through content configuration means (PCTd); o Generating new category of contents through category generating means (PCTc).

Already saved categories and its contents are used to configure it prefers additional categories (not already stored in storage element (SE)); category generating means (PCTc) allows generating a new category and use the same thereafter to configure it for individual or group.

Post selection of content for Notification, present system communicates and synchronizes the changes in notification content to the individual user or members of the group. The present system updates and distributes the changes to the affected users or members of the group of communication devices. Further, the Communication Means (SMc) enables communication and thereby exchange of information between the Notification Module (NM) and Device Module (Cing and Ced) via DATA Network. Synchronization Means (SMs) offered by Service Management (SM) facilitates to ensure that information related to Device module (Cing and Ced) Users/ Group, Device Details, Content related to Notification, Consent and Control information is synchronized between the Notification Module (NM) and Device Modules (Cing and Ced) . The synchronization provide facility to accept changes made regarding change in notification content or user and synchronize the changes with Notification Module (NM) and concerned Platform Users. Synchronization service may flag the changes recorded, so that subsequent synchronization requests are made to concerned platform users and Notification System, to retrieve the changed information.

Post distribution and updating of notification content for the individual user or members of the Group, users of the present Notification system has complete control on service to opt for and control over Notification content shared by the user. Users of the present system can block the users from setting up any Notification content, if they find content to be obscene or abusive. Also the user of the present system has complete control over content used for Notification, they can preview the content and if they find it appropriate and as per their preference and liking they can enable the content to be used for Notification and the service selected.

Said Device Module (Cing/ Ced) of the present notification system (P) enables the user to access the benefits of the present system (P), by accessing the Notification content via Display (CDing/ CDed) of their Device Module (Cing/ Ced) for users consent and control.

Based on the preference, liking, consent and control offered by the present system, the users via Device Modules (Cing/ Ced) could allow/ block users, service and content used for Notification. Device Module (Cind/ Ced) is the key components for the present system as it allows users to interact and provides option to opt for service based on their preference and liking with complete control over users, content and service offered. Device Modules (Cing/ Ced) updates the user’s information related to consent and control over notification content, user and service to the Consent Module (PCS) and Control Module (PCN) of Processing Means (PR) of the present system. The Control module (PCN) provides interactive provision to users of Device Modue (Cing/ Ced) and enables/ disables selected notification contents of those users whom the user expects. At the same time, based on the inputs received from users of Device Module (Cing/ Ced), Control Module dynamically updates and Block other User from configuring any future Notification content if the other users wants to.

Said processing means (PR) facilitate user specific Notification content, with consent and control on content and users across all communication devices utilized. Notification Module (NM) provides Service Management module (SM) and Device Module (Cing/ Ced) have Device Service Management Module which provides facilities to ensure, that the information related to notification content configured by users of communication device is enabled or disabled based on the users preference and liking. Any changes related to user consent about the content or users of the communication devices is dynamically updated from Device Modules (Cing and Ced) to service management (SM), which in turn is updated to content management (CM), Consent Module (PCS) , Control Module (PCN) and User management (UM) for effective management of Notification service and Users of the Platform. Notification services are enabled for users, based on users consent and control to be part of Notification service along with consent and control over notification content and users of the communication devices. For Telecom users based on the state of the call i.e. outgoing or incoming call various Notification services are triggered. Call Detection Means (CCding / CCded) of Device Modules (Cing / Ced) are responsible to detect the state of the call based on which Notification service is triggered for the User of communication device.

The above Table is an example related to Notification service which are triggered based on the Call State of Telecom Users. It also gives a reference in terms of existing service and the enhancement offered by the Present Notification System. It is clearly evident from the table that the existing Notification service lacks Consent and Control over services, Content and Users of the communication devices. On successful detection of the calling state, Call detection means (PCSa) of the Notification module or Call detection means (CCding / CCded) of Device module (Cing / Ced) based on the updates received from Consent Module (PCS) either access the Storage element (SE) of the Notification module or Device storage (CSing / CSed) of Device Module, to access the Notification content set for particular Notification service opted by the users of present system. Based on capability to access and store Notification content, present system provides capability to existing communication devices to access and store information related to Notification content, Notification service opted to be either accessed locally on the Device Module (CSing/ CSed) or via Notification Module. For Device Module (Cing/ Ced), the Notification Content (CNing / CNed) is stored based on users consent to opt for Notification service as mentioned in FIG.2.

Call detection means (PCSa) of the Notification Module detects the call state and trigger the playing of the notification content on display (CDing / CDed) of the Device Module (CDing / CDed), if the users of the present system have enabled the Notification content and opted for the Notification service offered by present system. While if the Block detection means (PCSb) of Notification module detects if the notification content is being blocked by the user of the communication device it plays the Notification content, based on users preference and liking selected by the user.

Consent (CCsing/ CCsed) and Control (CCning / CCned) modules of the Device Modules are also dynamically updated by the Notification system based on users consent and control over content of Notification used, Users & service opted for. Based on the capability of the communication device, technology and platform used, Device Modules can store Notification content locally and access services offered by present system.

COMPARITIVE ANALYSIS OF PRIOR ART AND PRESENT INVENTION

ADVANTAGES OF PRESENT INVENTION:

Said system provides Consent to the users of communication device/ service with complete control on content i.e. music, audio, video, image or combination of image and audio set as notification by/ for them. Said system provides personalization and customization of content, based on their preference, interest and liking for users/ groups and enables it as a notification based on their consent. Said system also provides tools to create personalized and customized content which could be used for Notification based on user’s personal, social and professional engagement. Considering the nature of service offered, said system also provides a platform which is easily accessible and flexible to use by marketers, advertisers and SME’s. Said system provides complete control on notification configured by/for users. The present Notification system provides provision for consent to its users related to the content i.e. type and quality of content, along with Complete Control on users who could/ should be allowed to configure/ set Notification for them.

With present invention, we not only enable users with customizing user specific content without depending on any communication service provider or vendor, we provider greater flexibility to the use of content asides greater control on content which they intend to use based on their liking and preference.

Since, we enable user with complete control on use of content, we also enable user with complete control on people/ Users who could configure or set content as Tune Notification for them. Users can Block Users if they find the content used by particular user as annoying or obscene. Hence present invention provides complete control on users of Tune Notification system which could be blocked or unblocked based on their conduct/ behavior and use of Tune Notification system.

APPLICATIONS OF PRESENT INVENTION:

The present invention has possible extension of applicability of solution to update users of tune notification with whether forecast whenever they receive calls or are travelling to new destination based on requirement.

User might want to receive information about certain business news, Stocks prices, and business events whenever they receive call. Such visual information when linked to Tune Notification might be a useful source of information for professionals. Youngsters might want to receive or view new viral videos whenever their phone rings.

Sync of any information i.e. Contacts, Email id, Phone number without User intervention could be another application of Tune Notification system.

The Present Invention also has an applicability to replace the existing Voice Messaging Service provided by mobile operators across the world. The present invention easily overcomes the drawbacks associated with implemented Voice Messaging solution wherein user has to have a Voice Messaging account which is a paid service. The voice message deposit and retrieval also involves clunky steps, wherein user is redirected to an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) for voice message deposit and retrieval.

The present Invention allows users to directly share a Voice and Video message in case of user being Busy or missed the call. It avoids clunky steps involved for voice message deposit and retrieval along with Voice Message account maintenance with User Id and password for the same.
