Abstract:
Novel 4,6-diarylpyrimidine derivatives represented by general formula (1), salts thereof, a process for producing the same, and a drug comprising the same as the active ingredient, wherein R represents a heterocycle or amino optionally substituted by one to four lower alkyl groups; and Ar represents phenyl, naphthyl or an aromatic heterocycle optionally having one to four substituents. The compounds have an excellent effect of inhibiting neovascularization and are useful as a remedy for solid tumor, rheumatism, diabetic retinopathy and psoriasis.
