Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel alkoxymethyl-substituted bisphenol compound having exceptional storage stability and exceptional solvent solubility, heat resistance, and optical properties when used as a resin raw material. This problem can be solved by using an alkoxymethyl-substituted bisphenol compound represented by general formula (1). (In the formula, R each independently represent a C1-4 alkyl group.)
