Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel compound which has melanin production inhibitory activity, or the like. Specifically disclosed is a compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein the symbols are as defined in the description) or a salt thereof. Also specifically disclosed is a skin whitening agent which contains the compound or a salt thereof.
