Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel annular-ring fastener. After pre-tightening force is applied to a common threaded fastener, for various reasons, the nut and the bolt (or the stud and the screw) may produce relative angular displacement about the axis of the helix on the bolt, and the helical pair may produce axial displacement while producing relative angular displacement. Therefore, an annular-ring fastener system can be utilized to solve the problem in some threaded fastener systems of particular axial displacement due to relative angular displacement of helical pairs. The annular-ring fastener can combine annular-ring parts together, so that the axial displacement of an annular-ring buckle is limited when the annular-ring buckle produces relative angular displacement about the central axis. That is, the axial displacement range of a fastened object is limited by the cooperation of inner annular rings and outer annular rings of the annular-ring parts, and acting force is applied to the fastened object by means of the combination of the annular-ring parts and a support member.
