Title:
NOVEL ANTI-DC-SIGN ANTIBODIES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2005058244
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
Antibodies to DC-SIGN are disclosed which are capable of modulating the interaction of dendritic cells and T cells. In some embodiments, the antibodies inhibit the interaction of dendritic cells and T cells. In other embodiments, the antibodies are combined with peptides which are internalized in dendritic cells and presented to T cells, thereby generating an immune response to the peptide. The antibodies of the present disclosure may, in some embodiments, be useful in blocking viral binding, infection, and transmission.
