Title:
NOVEL ANTIMICROBIAL PEPTIDE DERIVED FROM LL37 PEPTIDE AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/172666
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel antimicrobial peptide derived from an LL37 peptide and a use thereof. The antimicrobial peptide of the present invention shows excellent antimicrobial activity against gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, and antibiotic-resistant bacteria and exhibits low cytotoxicity against cells from mice and humans, and therefore, the antimicrobial peptide may be utilized as an active ingredient of antibiotics, cosmetic compositions, food additives, feed additives, and biological pesticides for antimicrobial use.
