Abstract:
To provide: a novel cyanic acid ester compound which has relatively low viscosity, excellent solubility in solvents and excellent handleability, and is capable of providing a cured product that has low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss tangent, excellent flame retardancy and excellent heat resistance; a method for producing the novel cyanic acid ester compound; and a curable resin composition or the like which uses the novel cyanic acid ester compound. A phenol-modified xylene formaldehyde resin is cyanated.
