Abstract:
A novel dry bushing for an electric power system. A semiconductor shielding layer (2) is provided between an inner cavity of a main insulating tube (1) and a current-carrying conductive rod component (6); carbon fibers immersed in epoxy resin are provided on an outer wall of the main insulating tube (1) to form a ground potential shielding electrode (3); a mounting flange (7) is provided on the outer side of the ground potential shielding electrode (3); semiconductor rubber (4) is mounted at the end of the ground potential shielding electrode (3); and a silicone rubber umbrella cover (5) together with the semiconductor rubber (4) are cured on the outer wall of the main insulating tube (1). The novel dry bushing for the electric power system may employ multiple stages of main insulating tubes (1) connected in series. The highest voltage of the bushing may be up to 550 kV or higher, and the current level may be from a few amperes to tens of thousands of amperes. The novel dry bushing for the electric power system may be used in AC electric power systems, and may also be used in DC electric power systems. The novel dry bushing for the electric power system has a wide range of application fields, and may be used as an outlet of high-voltage electrical appliances such as transformers, reactors, and GIS or SF6 gas switches. Compared to traditional bushings, the novel dry bushing for the electric power system has a small volume, is lightweight, has low fabrication costs, is highly reliable, and is used on transformers without the risk of explosions and fires.
