Title:
NOVEL ENZYME NANOPARTICLES HAVING METHANE OXIDATION ACTIVITY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/204425
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel enzyme nanoparticles capable of converting methane to methanol, the enzyme nanoparticles having the core active site of methanotrophs fused with and expressed on a protein capable of forming nanoparticles through intracellular self-assembly. Specifically, the present invention relates to: enzyme nanoparticles comprising an active site of methane monooxygenase (MMO) and a protein having MMO activity; a production method therefor; a recombinant microorganism having introduced therein a nucleic acid for coding the active site of the MMO and the protein; and immobilized enzyme nanoparticles formed by supporting the enzyme nanoparticles on a support.
