Abstract:
Provided is a novel high-performance aramid-based composite rope. A manufacturing method of the novel high-performance aramid-based composite rope comprises the following steps: 1) immersing an aramid rope in a functional flame-retardant coating material, and adjusting a thickness of an inner flame-retardant coating by controlling an immersion duration and a concentration of the coating material; performing low-temperature crosslinking on the aramid rope having undergone the immersion processing to cure the flame-retardant coating; and 2) immersing the aramid rope in a commercial polyurethane coating material, and adjusting a thickness of an outer coating by controlling an immersion duration and a concentration of the coating material. The manufacturing method of the novel high-performance aramid-based composite rope employs a composite coating technique, thereby eliminating a problem of a sharp deterioration in mechanical properties of conventional flame-retardant aramid ropes under high temperatures, and solving a problem of a poor bonding strength between a single coating and an aramid rope. Moreover, in the novel high-performance aramid-based composite rope manufactured by the above method, the composite coatings thereof enable the aramid rope to be simultaneously resistant to flames, heat, dampness, ultraviolet and abrasion.
