Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing L-tryptophan dehydrogenase having high stability and a high activity. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing a method whereby it becomes possible to measure L-tryptophan in a simple manner and with high accuracy using the L-tryptophan dehydrogenase even in a biological sample containing various substances or the like. The present invention further addresses the problem of providing a measurement kit and an enzyme sensor, both of which can be used for implementing the above-mentioned measurement method. The L-tryptophan dehydrogenase according to the present invention is characterized by having a mutation at a specified site compared with wild-type L-tryptophan dehydrogenase.
