Abstract:
A laryngeal mask airway device comprises a hollow mask body (1) and a connection tube (2). The hollow mask body (1) comprises a cover portion (11) open at the bottom, and a back portion (12) located at a top portion of the cover portion (11) and supporting the cover portion (11). A distal end of the back portion (12) is provided with a connection hole (a) connected to a proximal end of the connection tube (2). The cover portion (11) is a flexible ring-shaped sheet structure. The back portion (12) is a support structure more rigid than the cover portion (11). The laryngeal mask airway device does not need to be inflated, has a smaller outer diameter, can reduce stimulation to the larynx mucosa, and also enables a better seal and ventilation efficiency.
