Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel and lightweight track-type multifunctional inspection robot system, comprising: a track; a base slidably connected to the track; a lifting mechanism disposed at a lower surface of the base; and a detection and ball-storage mechanism mounted to a lower end of the lifting mechanism. The volume and height of the robot system of the invention are reduced, such that the machine can travel in a narrower space to perform inspection operations and can adapt to various complicated on-site conditions. With the reduced volume and weight, the robot system is designed to provide other improved performances. The fastest travelling speed can reach 1.2m/s, and the system also offers faster speeds in other degrees of freedom, thereby shortening inspection time and improving the efficiency of inspection operations.
