Abstract:

The present invention relates to a novel method for preparing a polythiol compound which is used for an optical material, and to a polymeric composition comprising the polythiol compound, and more particularly, to a composition and method for obtaining a high-quality polythiol compound having homogeneous color and high purity at a low cost and also obtaining, through the use of a polymeric composition including the polythiol composition, an optical lens having outstanding optical properties, which is clean and transparent and has high heat-resistance.
