Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel microalgae having high loliolide productivity. Scenedesmus sp. HS4 of the present invention has high biomass productivity and high loliolide content, thereby being usable as a biological resource capable of producing loliolide, and being usable in a pharmaceutical composition or a cosmetic composition in which Scenedesmus sp. HS4-derived loliolide is required.
