Title:
NOVEL POLY(ETHYLENE GLYCOL) DERIVATIVE AND PROTEIN-ADSORPTION INHIBITOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/049734
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a compound which has an extremely high protein-adsorption inhibition effect wherein the compound is effectively adsorbed onto the surface of a base, e.g., an immunoreaction vessel, to prevent non-specific adsorption of proteins, etc., and which has such excellent cleaning resistance that said effect does not change through cleaning of the base. Also provided are a protein-adsorption inhibitor including said compound, a phosphorylcholine-modified base, and a method for inhibiting protein adsorption. The compound is a phosphorylcholine-group-containing poly(ethylene glycol) derivative represented by formula (1). The method for inhibiting protein adsorption according to the present invention includes a step in which an adsorption layer of the derivative is formed on a base surface.
