Abstract:
A novel process for embossing 3D patterns on the surface of a spectacle frame, comprising the following steps: (1) manufacturing an upward pressing die, a downward pressing die, and a middle combination die according to the size of a spectacle frame; (2) sawing a square raw acetate sheet, and engraving holes according to middle elliptical shape data of the upward pressing die; (3) engraving and milling an outline by using a CNC; (4) putting the acetate sheet in a sealed oven to be heated; (5) squeezing the acetate sheet softened by heating, and directly taking out the acetate sheet after cooling solidification; and (6) putting the embossed acetate sheet in the CNC to be engraved, and milling an inner ring and performing other known conventional procedures according to data required by a finished product drawing to manufacture the spectacle frame.
