Abstract:
This equipment, for producing liquefied hydrogen and liquefied natural gas from natural gas, is provided with: a first heat exchanger which cools hydrogen gas by exchanging heat between the hydrogen gas and a mixed coolant for liquefying natural gas containing multiple types of coolants selected from a group consisting of methane, ethane, propane and nitrogen; a second heat exchanger which cools the mixed coolant by exchanging heat between the aforementioned mixed coolant and propane; and a third heat exchanger which cools hydrogen gas by exchanging heat between the hydrogen gas and a coolant containing hydrogen or helium, wherein the preliminary cooling temperature in the first heat exchanger is -100°C to -160°C.
