Abstract:
The present invention relates to a Streptomyces sp. strain having antimicrobial activity and, more particularly, to a novel strain of Streptomyces sp., which is DUCC501, and a plant disease controlling composition and an advantageous insect disease controlling composition including the novel strain, wherein the strain shows antifungal effects on a broad range of fungal species including insect pathogenic fungi and also plant pathogenic fungi.
