Abstract:
A method of screening compounds to identify those compounds which inhibit or otherwise modulate the cleavage of presenilin-1 (PS-1) comprising measuring the extent of cleavage of PS-1 into 18kDa and 28kDa species as compared with the extent of cleavage in the absence of test compound, compounds identified thereby and their use in therapy.
