Abstract:

Triphenyl compounds represented by general formula (I) or salts thereof, wherein X?1¿, X?2¿ and X?3¿ are each independently hydroxyl, mercapto, or amino; Y is amino; and R?4¿ is a C¿1?-C¿12? trivalent hydrocarbon group which may be fluorinated or contain an etheric oxygen atom, or a triazine residue, with the proviso that either each of X?1¿, X?2¿ and X?3¿ or Y is bonded at the meta position and the other at the para position. The compounds are useful as crosslinking agents for elastomers and give crosslinked products excellent in heat resistance.
