Title:
NOVEL XYLANASE PRODUCED FROM CELLULOSIMICROBIUM FUNKEI HY-13
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/099670
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel xylanase and to the use thereof, and particularly, to xylanase derived from Cellulosimicrobium funkei HY-13 separated from an invertebrate animal, to a Fibronectin type 3 (Fn3) domain of the xylanase, and to the uses thereof. Since it has been confirmed that the xylanase of the present invention has substrate specificity and separates xylan with high efficiency under neutral and basic pH conditions, and that the Fn3 domain performs an important function for the substrate specificity, the xylanase of the present invention may be helpful when added to various raw materials for plant fertilizer or for separating cellulose-based biomass.
