Abstract:
Provided is a nozzle member of a cutting tool that imparts a high degree of freedom in the arrangement of a coolant jetting port. This nozzle member is a nozzle member to be attached to a cutting tool, and is provided with a fixation section and an extension section. The nozzle member has a coolant flow path therein. The fixation section has two end surfaces and a peripheral surface that connects between the two end surfaces. The extension section is integrally formed with the fixation section so as to protrude from a first end surface, that is, one of the two end surfaces of the fixation section. A jetting port where the coolant flow path opens is formed in the extension section. A coolant introduction port to the coolant flow path is formed in the fixation section. The coolant flow path has at least two bent parts or curved parts.
